I don't hate Outbreak Company, I hate all of you for being casuals who voted for it because it's all you watched.
Every time I find out someone who watches anime hasn't watched SSY I'm fucking amazed. That show is incredible.
As good as it is (probably my favorite series), i don't really see it as entry level anime.
It is a must watch, but i would start with something different first.
wtf is ssy
super saiyan yamcha?
Shinsekai yori

Why bother calling it ssy tho, just say the whole name. It's not like it's long.
anyone watching etotama?
http://myanimelist.net/anime/28221/Etotama
Judging from the synopsis, I think I'd rather watch literal shit. Like set up a lawn chair and stare at some dog shit for the runtime of one episode.
I bet the flies would have less contrived personalities too.
what just happened
He asked for an action show recommendation, but the show I listed did not contain high octane action at all! Shenanigans ensued.

Nope [sp]i lie, its actually rather fun[/sp]

How much different is the novel and manga compared to the anime? I really enjoyed the anime and might pick them up if they're available/good
So Owari no seraph is basically attack on titan but with vampires.
I didn't even need to look at the MAL page to go "oh hey it's Hiroyuki Sawano again"
When the anime was announced I went ahead and read the manga since hey the guy is wearing that super cool raidou uniform but then it turned out to have the usual dumb angsty teen who wants revenge plot.
What a disappointment since the art is pretty decent too

This answers everything about shknbk now.
Finally getting back to watching Nanatsu Taizai.
I love this show and all the characters.

I'm surprised it wasn't really talked about anywhere.
It had pretty cool fights, and was funny.
It got kind of dark towards the end concerning one of the Sins, but it was one heck of a ride.
Also; Diane > Everyone else
Man I really want to try and make some of the food I am seeing on food wars.
Finally watched episode 14 of UBW, man a good anime original episode, rare these days.

I think you mean "almost unheard of", how many shows do anime original content without totally fucking everything up?
I'm surprised it wasn't really talked about anywhere.

I sort of fell off the wagon during the middle of whathisname [sp]busting himself out of that prison.[/sp] The show felt sort of... meandering? It felt sort of like it didn't know what it wanted to be. I couldn't really tell what it was trying to be and it sort of felt like it was holding a guidebook on ecchi humour because it was ticking all of the generic boxes for that side of its humour but doing it in this bizarre "am i doing it right" fashion.
Also Hawk was fucking annoying. But that's just par for the animal mascot course.
I guess if it has the seal of approval I'll get back to it.
please make some and send it to me i'm kinda hungry right now
Probably will attempt to make some this weekend post pictures of it and let FA know how it goes.

Good luck on reading nip nog since nobody translated the recipe pages in the manga
So I wanna finally watch Gintama, should I watch the new one, or just watch the original instead?
I think you mean "almost unheard of", how many shows do anime original content without totally fucking everything up?
Usually only adaptions of gag manga, since there's really not a lot to fuck up.
So I wanna finally watch Gintama, should I watch the new one, or just watch the original instead?
Watch the original, the new Gintama is basically season 7 of the show.
So I wanna finally watch Gintama, should I watch the new one, or just watch the original instead?
"man i wanna watch this anime, should i start at the beginning or in the middle?"
it's not a reboot, its a new season
So I wanna finally watch Gintama, should I watch the new one, or just watch the original instead?
Original. It's kind of shit for 24 episodes when it intros these shit side characters, but it gets better.
On a slightly different note,
I'm slowly liking it. I'm only at 37 and I can safely say it got better. A few rough episodes, but overall most of 25+ were good.
So I wanna finally watch Gintama, should I watch the new one, or just watch the original instead?
You could probably watch the new one since the arcs usually have a standalone story however there are a lot of reoccurring characters.
I'd recommend starting from the very beginning though. It's not a serious anime and doesn't really have one big plot or anything so you can just watch it in bits.

Speaking of Gintama, time did not do many favors for Kugimiya Rie
