I personally think the scene where he breaks through the window and the last close-up during the OP was what the comedic scenes should've looked like.

ep2 had practically none existent maymays and they tl'd the ep title better (FFF was inaccurate and vague). ep3 had some 2 instances of tiny maymays but it's still leagues better than literal trollsubs like the ones that did log horizone or whatever.

the first three episodes are obviously the first volume of the light novel, the pacing is exactly what I'd expect from a LN adaption by JC staff.

Rate me late all you want, but I finally finished Death Parade. I would have finished it sooner but I very often lack the energy to get through a single episode of a show no matter how much I'm enjoying it.
Episode 11 was really beautifully done. Also [sp]Ginti is an asshole.[/sp]
Episode 12 had me in tears.
All in all, I gave the show a 10. A 10 for me just means it's a show that I personally really enjoyed all the way through. Doesn't mean the show was a masterpiece by any means or that everyone will like it, just that I thought it was fantastic.
I'm not usually able to motivate myself enough to watch anything at all, but it's always really satisfying to be able to finish a good series, even if it takes me a while.
