I think i'll hold off on the LN until the season is over, it feels neat rewatching the same episode a few times looking for context clues and how it relates to the previous episodes. It's like I'm some sort of weaboo Sherlock Holmes. Except my smack is anime. Something something wafflehouse something something covered in pockie something something needletracks something something aspirating on vomit waifu dakimura.
Picking up chicks in dungeons is super generic but it's honestly not that bad, I've seen far worse out of JC Staff.

Franken Fran oddly reminds me of Black Jack
Basilisk is pretty cool so far, but the fact that the main love interest has both the worst design in the show with eyes drooping so far they threaten to slide off her head, and admits to being utterly incompetent at fighting, and acts like an overgrown schoolgirl who can't stop blushing and doki doki-ing and gasping every second she's on screen from the mere presence of the MC is getting extremely annoying extremely quickly.

She's the only named character so far who is neither cool nor interesting and looks like she's going to play damsel for the entire show. Not a terribly good idea for a character I'm presumably supposed to care about.
No way it looks like that the third episode of Akito the Exiled is actually going to be released. Not sure what's happening, but the Lancelot action in the end got me hyped as fuck.
