Wait boku girl is up to 56 now? wtf Where can I find chapters past 40? Batoto doesn't seem to have em
you can read the liveTLs here https://archive.moe/a/search/subject/boku%20girl/username/Aereus/ though it's missing a couple for some reason, you'll have to find those threads in the archive yourself also, batoto is up to 41 now, as of today http://bato.to/read/_/312096/boku-girl_ch41
I've tried reading the liveTL threads and I don't really enjoy it so I'm just going to wait for typeset chapters like a pleb.

My hope for the new Ghost in the Shell movie continues to drop. First it's a sequel to Arise, then it's written by the writer of Arise (and PSYCHO-PASS 2), now I realize the only thing the director as really done of note is Robotics;Notes which was mediocre at best. Why are you doing this to be Production I.G?

These past few eps of G reco have been pretty good. I just feel that G reconguista needs more than 26 eps.
Would you recommend Gundam G no Reconguista? I didn't really realize it existed until I saw all the gunpla they made for it and honestly, some of them look kind of funky, in a bad way. I kind of dig the main Gundam design though. I get some really serious Code Geass vibes from it. Also Build Fighters? I saw a bit of an episode and I didn't realize that it was a really long plot-driven sort of series. I thought it was just a bunch of robot fights.
Basically what the others said, it had a very slow start and then just gradually devolved into what is going on even. The problem was it's only 2 cours and there was, literally, a dozen factions and all these names and shit you had to keep track of. The writing was very poor at explaining things, hell it didn't didn't really explain anything at all. I had to read a /m/ thread a week ago, 23 eps after the show started airing, about what was going on for pretty much most of the events in the story. GBF s1 was great. S2 not so much, fell pretty flat on it's face.
I've tried reading the liveTL threads and I don't really enjoy it so I'm just going to wait for typeset chapters like a pleb.
boku girl isn't good enough for it to be enjoyable
http://store.steampowered.com/app/345370/ FA VN reboot when?
the fa vn will now just be an aa2 class

I thought it was just a bunch of robot fights.
I would recommend it. It's not hard to know what's going on if you're paying attention and don't require things to be spoon-fed to you. You have to actually pay attention to what people are saying and the show tends to assume that the characters in it know things rather than have standard "explain everything for the audience, dear" style exposition. And it still explains everything quite clearly. Also having been forced to watch a dozen or so episodes of Code Geass it's nothing like Code Geass. Also yes, watch Build Fighters. Don't watch Try. Try fucking sucks. Watch the episode with Tryon 3 until it uses its finisher and then just stop there. This is due to a director change who seems to have forgotten that the show has Gundam in it and is more interested in extremely shitty harem stuff than robots fighting each other. It also has a pitiful budget, to the point where it can barely have action at all, there's lots of stock footage and three minutes of stalling before every match starts, and there's minimal action and maximum stock footage in said fights, which have awful choreography and are stock footage fests. [editline]25th March 2015[/editline] I haven't had a single problem telling what's going on in G-Reco so it's a little hard for me to say that it's supposed to be confusing.
The Gate anime has taken a lot of liberties in terms of character design compared to the manga. And I'd say for the worse. Rory Mercury's design is probably the most noticeable. Why is she twice as tall? And the axe is completely different! [editline]24th March 2015[/editline] Lots of details are way different as well, like the hairstyle, and shoes

I like both the designs tbh.
After literally a decade of putting it off, I have finally watched Ghost in the Shell Innocence. How the fuck does this movie from 2004 have better animation then shit coming out today.
^ effort
After literally a decade of putting it off, I have finally watched Ghost in the Shell Innocence. How the fuck does this movie from 2004 have better animation then shit coming out today.
Maybe by being a high-budget movie
Maybe by being a high-budget movie
I'm saying it looks better as hyperbole to describe how I feel about it, my reaction to the animation was "holy shit this came out in 2004?"
I like both the designs tbh.
Liking or disliking isn't the main point here. If the "new" design was completely unrelated to Gate then yeah it'd be pretty good. But radically changing original designs is always a bad thing. Still 4 months until it airs though. Should be interesting to see if they've changed the plot as much as the visuals
I really hope Arslan Senki is good, the studio hasn't done much so I really don't know whether to be optimistic or despair or what.
I really hope Arslan Senki is good, the studio hasn't done much so I really don't know whether to be optimistic or despair or what.
Terra Formars was great but on the flip side the OVA was one of the worst things I've ever seen (in terms of adaptations - absolutely ruined), the new Initial D movies are supposed to be good too. Either way, good animation is something LIDEN can do, at the very least. I am hopeful.
the new Initial D movies are supposed to be good too.
Aren't they just remakes? tbh i preferred initial d when the animation was incredibly 90s
and had eurobeat, not generic rock music
Phew! Finally finished Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood! I liked it.

I'm watching far too many not-airing shows (and probably too many airing ones too), I should probably just finish one and move on. I'm rewatching Love Live and Saki, and also watching Aria, Dog Days, and Spice and Wolf, though I really haven't watched much of Spice and Wolf since Christmas. The thing with Aria is it's so calming, I don't want to just blaze through it, I want to save it for days when I can relax on the couch and watch like 6 episodes at a time, or times when I think I need something that's just lighthearted and chill. That and I was watching like 15 shows this season, only two of which have ended.
Reading onani master again and it feels 100 times more emotionally investing than when I read it 2 years ago
