I don't see how the existence of that invalidates my complaint? That's just a sidenote as well, the game itself is dumb to begin with, no matter what time it's set in.

i really think you're just watching jojo for the sake of watching it and expecting way too much. Yeah it pulls shit out of its ass but sometimes that ridiculous over the top unrealism makes it fun. You should just expect "the floor is now lava" "but i have lava proof shoes" shit in jojo.

you can't really complain that the universe in jojo's shouldn't have the technology for games like that when 50 years earlier [sp]there was technology that could bring stroheim back to life as a half-machine[/sp]

I expect it to be stupid. That doesn't stop it from being stupid.
I'm watchin JoJo because everyone hyped it up when the first season was announced. I liked the second arc of JoJo a lot.
Stardust Crusader was massively hyped and everyone was super excited for it and it has just been one giant letdown. It is at times more exciting than the first JoJo arc, but is for the most just as boring, if not more at times (like ep 40).
I don't remember the game but i remember thinking it was dumb as shit, Jojo having weird technology does not make having a shitty boring game okay

You admit it's dumb, over the top, childish, you even bring better examples of it to make the other thing seem ok. But god forbid anyone actually calls it out on being any of that. That's just not ok.
I can't possibly dislike the things you like about it.
I don't mind prosthetics and [sp]revival through machines[/sp], because that doesn't affect the fun-factor, it doesn't have a notable impact on the show. I do mind dumb shit like "oh suddenly my stand his this new convenient power that I've never used before" (Grandpa JoJo does this [I]all the time[/I], most recently when he could now check the integrity of a fucking video game cartridge and console, (not to mention, him somehow knowing what a original fucking cartridge would be like)) and games with arbitrary made-up-as-you-go rules to try and bring in suspense and tension.
It's not exciting to see someone play a games with rules that nobody knows before something happens. Can you imagine watching a football match where nobody but the players know the rules? It would be completely meaningless to everyone else to watch.

Yeah dgg, all I said was the technology of the game system is kind of irreverent in a series with such anachronistic technology already, I didn't comment on anything else about your complaints.
the technology in jojo is already inconsistent as hell so complaining about it now just seems really weird.

"You can't really complain" Reading those words and keeping in mind that every time I've called out JoJo for being really dumb at something people have always counter-argued I get a bit on edge.
I can see that I've overreacted, and if anything it's probably the disagrees versus agrees that really gets me coupled with, as I've said, people always trying to make it seem ok and not stupid because this and that.
