Finished Manabi Straight, Ufotable's cute girls doing cute things show. Holy shit this was so boring, I'm not the biggest fan of slice of life but this wasn't even a slice of interesting life. It's just normal schoolgirls being normal, it makes k-on look like a fucking Greek tragedy in comparison.
I kept waiting for [I]anything[/I] interesting to happen, but it never did. I don't understand these SOL shows that are literally just watching people be normal, I could go outside and have my own boring life if I wanted that.

I should probably install aa2 again but its annoying how many hoops you need to jump through. Last time I just used the Hongfire patch to put in the translations and stuff for me even though /aa2g/ recommended otherwise.
Illusion shouod just make expansion packs for aa2 rather than making the same game over again but with different graphics.

The fact AA2 even got 2 appends, 6-9 months worth of patches, and several dlc is a miracle in of itself. Unfortunately, they're already back to their infamous illusion cycle of churning out shovelware as they already pumped out 2 games after AA2 already. So it'd probably be a couple more years or if the stars align for a second time, maybe even earlier before we get something like AA3 or AG4, which I imagine the latter is probably more liker to happen than the former any time soon. Though I recall there was a instance of ILL updating one of their older games of a game that came out years ago, in January this year so who knows, but I wouldn't bet on them doing that for AA2.
These shovelware help ILL keep float, I'd imagine if they bothered to actually not churn out these types of games they'd probably go down under pretty quick. But I'm no expert on this at all, so I'm probably just talking out of my ass on this point.

My older brother had me see just a little bit of the first episode of Shokugeki no Soma.
Needless to say it was the MEAAAAAAT JUUUUICEEEEEES part, which he wasn't expecting, and we just couldn't stop laughing at how out of the left field it came.
