I'm not gonna wait that long, I've already begun on the VN ^^
And I knew the art was bad, but seriously
who drew this and thought: "Yeah, this looks good."
Getting used to, and even enjoying, Ryukishi07's sausage-hands for Higurashi/Umineko has made me realize one will eventually adapt to pretty much any art style.

Also, if you want to start with a shorter Key VN before jumping into the rather long Clannad, try Planetarian ~Chiisana Hoshi no Yume~. It's on Steam now and it's < 10 hours
[editline]asdf[/editline]
I take that back. Hatoful Boyfriend is 75% off on Steam right now. This is clearly the first VN you should read first.
What have I been missing all my life? I decided to finally watch a Ghibli film the day before yesterday, as I posted: Princess Mononoke. I liked it so much that I watched Spirited Away the next day, then I watched Kiki's Delivery service the day after that; They're all perfect 10's in my book. And Kiki's got me even more excited for LWA2.
This discussion makes me wonder how the Steam edition of Clannad will look like. If I recall correctly, they did promise ~HD assets~.
they won't be ~HD assets~, really, but they will be higher resolution

perfect 10s
...
ok
I still need to watch Mononoke.
I should line up Mononoke, Kemonozume, Gankutsuou, and K-on for a marathon of shows with weird art styles.
Keep in mind that Mononoke is actually a derivative show of Ayakashi, in which the Medicine Seller's story is one of three arcs.
Also, if you're watching shows with weird art styles, you owe it to yourself to put at least one Yuasa work like Tatami Galaxy, Kaiba, or Ping Pong on that list.

Kemonozume is by Yuasa.
perfect 10s
...
ok
I don't use 10's hyper-conservatively like some people do; Otherwise only one or two movies could ever be rated 10.
I don't use 10's hyper-conservatively like some people do; Otherwise only one or two movies could ever be rated 10.
There is a difference between hyper conservative and everything gets a 10. 10 is "I personally don't think there is much you could do to make it better".
I fail to see how Spirited Away is just as good as Princess Mononoke. Kiki even more so.
If you give 10's lightly, what does 10 even mean? It's the top of the spectrum. If you have a fuckload of 10's you are in dire need of 11.
The only other VN I've read is fate zero, and I guess that's not really a typical VN then
Nevertheless I'm really enjoying this slice of life period so I hope it lasts a while :v:
???
Opening the doors for another constructive discourse on the human condition to give things 10s. Bout to open the gates to brown town and explore the human condition to fart TBH.
???
There are two F/Z VNs now - a fan adaptation, and the official The Adventure.
i care very deeply about other peoples definitions of a rating scale because it directly affects me

I do :)
We know you do dgg.
:v:
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
anything good is 10/10
anything below a 10 and its literally not worth watching
Finished yesterday both seasons of Psycho-Pass. Got too philosophical at the end IMO, but I think I got the 'conclusion' of it. Also Maki a bitch, Kogami best char, Dominator best weapon + voice.
Now to wait til the movie...

I don't know what you're talking about, there's only one season of psycho-pass...

negh, Psycho-Pass and Psycho-Pass|2. We're still talking about the same thing.

Ok then, I personally don't think there is much you could do to make Spirited Away or Kiki's better, I enjoyed them both as they were, and didn't see much room for improvement. This is just my opinion.
negh, Psycho-Pass and Psycho-Pass|2. We're still talking about the same thing.
Yes I remember them announcing a second season, shame it was cancelled before it came out it could have been great. (If you didn't get it yet I'm joking about how bad psycho-pass 2 is)

Am I missing some epic ruse here, is it a smart way to say you didn't like it at all, or are you actually being serious?

please refer to the edit I made right after posting that, yes I'm joking in the vain of "there is no tsukihime anime" Because psycho-pass 2 is not a sequel to psycho-pass, it's a ghost in the shell fanfiction.
does psychopass s2 exist in the same alternate reality as milky holmes s3 does?
and the clannad movie
Gundam SEED Destiny, Kill Me Baby, and Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete are there too
and the clannad movie
The Clannad movie didn't suck though, the alternate path it took was great and is the reason I got an emotional connection to the dango song.
It was a bad movie overall, but worth the watch.
does psychopass s2 exist in the same alternate reality as milky holmes s3 does?
I sure as hell wouldn't want to live in such a shitty alternate universe where terrible anime sequels like this can exist.
[SP]I regret watching both of those so much[/SP]
