I like it because it isn't complete fluff filled with LN bullshit.
If they just behave like normal people, then what's the fucking point?
Yeah I noticed that. Euphonium is actually almost sorta nearly kinda half-way to normal highschool interaction which is why I like Yahari
well... have you thought about this?
Yeah, I could use it to play so many more video games!
well... have you thought about this?
if i never watched anime i could finally catch up on my visual novel backlog
well... have you thought about this?
wow if i stopped watching anime i would have a lot more free time i could use for watching anime!
Started rereading Teppu, so good, really needs an anime adaptation at some point :v: Still not sure if I like that I see a lot of myself with how the MC acts though.

How is LH anyway, heard it described as a less shit SAO, which isn't saying much.
How is LH anyway, heard it described as a less shit SAO, which isn't saying much.
Log Horizon is fantastic and nothing like SAO. Can't be bothered doing the full explanation again.
That intro feels like such a fucking wrestler intro song for some reason. Still have like 5 episodes to go but no desire to watch.

log hor is b0ring
the only connection either series has to each other is a loose mmo style, they're basically nothing alike in story, characters, or plot themes.
Sword Art Online is about a special snowflake Gary Stu who gets all of the coolest, most game breaking powers, because he's the best person ever. Log Horizon is about people figuring out how to form a working society after they've been dropped into a world with nearly no existing infrastructure and different rules from reality. It's also about cooking and young girls squeeing over fancy catmen.
young girls squeeing over fancy catmen.
+ pretty much the rest of the fanbase
That intro feels like such a fucking wrestler intro song for some reason. I think this fixes something that really bothers me about SAO and .hack, that is how far in the future such advanced video games would be. They're walking around acting like it's the real world and they seem to be able to do pretty much anything they can in the real world. Just imagining all that seemingly impossible programming just ruins it a bit for me.

Stuff like exploiting the AI patterns of the monsters, the limited polycount of the in-game models, facial expressions being exaggerated in the animation engine, the fact that the game can't do water quite right, and so on and so forth. [editline]8th May 2015[/editline] The original SAO LN does have strengths, it's just that the story and characters are complete ass.
The animated parts in Ninja Slayer is so damn cool. I think I heard that it's going to air on TV next year, hopefully the whole show will be properly animated
Jesus fucking christ yahari had me in stitches today, [sp] i couldn't stop laughing at the pseudo-conversations hachiman had with that student council guy. Those fucking hand movements man. [/sp]
The animated parts in Ninja Slayer is so damn cool. Man those hand animations in this week's Yahari really sold that episode .

Anyone watching Foodwars at the moment? What's the general perception of this show on this thread.
I like it. Even thought it's silly I like to see the main character overcome the challenges. Also, PLEASURE ORGASMS!
Easily one of my fav shows this season. I had read the manga tho so i knew i would like it
I like it. Even thought it's silly I like to see the main character overcome the challenges. I'm curious as to where his father has disappeared too? It doesn't seem to have been explained very well.

If you want to be spoiled, [sp]his father also studied in the academy years ago and used to be part of the elite ten, he "disappeared" to travel all around the world cooking for elites and is a super important person in the worldwide food scene[/sp]
