So I pretty much marathoned all three anime adaptations of Nobuyuki Fukumoto's manga.
Kaiji S1 was great. I was not sure what to expect but boy did I get some good shit. Kaiji S2 was great too, though not as great as S1. The Bog suffers from ridiculous Shounen pacing though, jesus christ.
And then there's Akagi. Not as good as Kaiji, but still good. But good lord the shounen pacing here. The fact they couldn't even finish the match between Washizu and Akagi (though to be fair, caugh up to the manga) is hilarious.
Hopefully we'll get a third season of Kaiji and a continuation of Akagi eventually. Scores: Kaiji: 9/10 both seasons, Akagi: 8/10
Now to see if there's anything else worth watching before this CR trial runs out that isn't airing. I don't think there is (Fate/Zero aside, but UBW) but we'll see.

if by that you mean straightforward/has action then maybe black lagoon or cowboy bebop
I just looked at the shows airing for the summer and thankfully not a whole lot is airing that caught my eye other than Charlotte and Gakkou Gurashi, and possibly Gangsta which looks like it could be interesting and is made by a studio called MANGLOBE :v:

Like 5 manga i've read are getting an anime next season. Also a bunch of sequels and other things i'll watch.

Haven't seen the first, but I think it's on my list. Same with Durarara. Too many shows I have to watch, which is why I'm glad there isn't a whole lot that grabbed my attention for the summer. It'll be a good catch up season for me.

i can see myself reading more manga than watching anime very soon
20 mins per episode is just too time-consuming
For some reason for me mangas never feel like they have any emotional or heck any impact.
I just scan over them going:
These are words/characters/art
But it never really impacts me. For me its reading at a slow pace in comparison to books and not really enjoying the visuals as I am primarily focused on the text.
Lili's sob story and character are hilariously poorly written in Danmachi. Half the running plots seem to depend on the fact that this city doesn't appear to have any law enforcement and Adventurers can do whatever the fuck they want whenever the fuck they want in broad daylight.

Oregairu has some really good animation overall this season
I actually like the new style more, the animation and faces are some of the best I've seen in a while outside of kyoani

Devpro is better than dueling network imo, it does the rules for you so you don't end up staring at the screen for 10 minutes while somebody tries to figure out how his card works.
Imagine thinking Yu-gi-oh card game is superior to Wixoss.
