aw jesus, I've done like 3 routes or so in Clannad now (misae (dorm lady), fuuko and kyou) and I'm so heartbroken at the end of each one :( what is this, no one told me it was going to be like this...
apparently I haven't even gotten to the sad stuff yet too, I think I'll try to finish routes during the weekends so it doesn't affect my performance in school haha

what happened is the anime was edited really fucking weird and cut out the second half of the scene for no reason.

The Catsith HG is fantastic and you should all buy twenty. Despite taking two months after the show finished airing to come out despite being literally the first mobile suit on screen. That's a long fucking time to wait for the best suit in the series.

I'm glad i wasn't the only one to pick up on this. You can show your animation budget and skill in other ways that photorealistic painted backgrounds for every scene. I've been pretty impressed by the facial expressions and the art direction tbh.

I know everybody's been pissy over 8man's eyes but I think it's fine and he's been plenty expressive. I think his facial expressions this season tend to be a little more subtle and, I don't know if realistic is the correct word but I'm going with it, than season 1. The main difference is that you get fewer screencaps and reaction images out of him.
I've been enjoying S2 a bit more so far too.
I don't really care for either artstyle of Origairu, but I'm not really getting hooked into this season like I was with s1, I don't know what it is about it.
After watching it. I do like the new art direction for SNAFU! 2

It feels a lot more serious than S1. But it's been awhile since I've watched S1.

They are going straight from the LN so there's a lot less 'comedy' I guess. Most of the humor that coincides in the new season comes from quasimodo talking about kankolle and saize in his inner monologues, which if they were to give them the proper time to do would take out significant chunks of the episodes.
