I don't want Ore monogatari to end ever. New ep had me in tears, especially the last scene.

me
I haven't watched Ergo but Texhnolyze is super slow for awhile (the main character doesn't even hold a proper conversation until like 10 episodes in and the first episode has like 2 lines of dialogue) and gets extremely symbolic at the end. I'm really not too sure about some of the stuff that happened but there were parts that blew my mind. It's not something I'd recommend to everyone but I still liked it.
watch out you're gonna make dgg mad, he hates that show. (i didn't like it either)
That depends entirely on how long the shows were and if any of them were School Days
NO.
Also, 6 were 12 eps (ye olde ecchi / harem anime), FMA: Brotherhood, Ao no Exorcist and now almost on par with Monogatari series

I just started Nisekoi. I am liking it.

May I ask what about Texhnolyze appealed to you?
To me it was just a bunch of bullshit, the storytelling was atrocious and the art and environment design was so bad you couldn't tell where you were (or what you were really looking at) half the time. It was also extremely slow in pace, most of the show is spent with nothing really ever happening, just people walking around to their destinations and looking at all the gloom and doom around them.
A bunch of people did stuff and there were gang fights, the tribesmen people, the soulless and the wisemen and they all did their things and then the show was over [sp]as mostly everyone died if I recall correctly[/sp]

I enjoyed Yoshii, the setting, the theme of what it means to be human, the different factions,[sp]the above world, the shapes[/sp], and the camera work.
I didn't like the main character, the slow pace, and how heavy handed the symbolism was near the end.

So many of these types of manga and light novels popping up/translated lately.
Strange to think that we'll be playing actual VRMMOs in 1-2 years.

Just a headset isn't full body virtualization though.
Just finished reading Qualia the Purple. Wow that was probably the best manga I've seen in a while if not ever. I love it when people explore actual scientific topics like that. Is there anything else like that?
Just a headset isn't full body virtualization though.
Headset and hands. But yeah, doubt full body is something we'll ever see in our lifetimes.
Some of these mangas are more sensible though, Ressentiment is pretty realistic when it comes to VR in 5-10 years. Even if you don't usually read manga, it's just 49 chapters but highly recommended.

They are already figuring out ways to implement walking, so don't worry about that.

Nintendo Power Glove 2 pls
Shinsekai Yori was really good. The production value was fucking all over the place with all sorts of sloppy animation and poor sound design especially present in the earlier episodes [sp]around the episodes when they have their cantus sealed[/sp].
Ending spoiler:
[sp]That the queerats were humans wasn't exactly a big twist for the last episode, but I guess the idea that the humans themselves did it was noteworthy, but it didn't really hold that big horrifying "OH SHIT" truth that it seems the show itself wanted it to be[/sp]
I liked the overall theme and setting, it's essentially dealing with a lot of the same themes as Psycho-Pass, just in an entirely different setting and asking them in a different way. Being very fond of these kind of "what does it really mean to be human" and "how far can we control humans before it goes too far" type of questions I naturally enjoyed Shinsekai a great deal.
This show must have been horrible to watch as it airs though, not because the episodes leave on cliffhangers or anything, but because the contents of the episodes doesn't really stand that strong on their own, you really need a couple of episodes at a time to get any feasible story out of it, especially in the early episodes where it jumps a bit in time with the storytelling making it all a bit hard to figure out. I can't really imagine how hard it would have to be to remember all the stuff that happened in the previous episodes, especially not since it enjoys being very artsy both in the literal visual sense, and in how the storytelling works (it gets more straightforward after they've grown up though).
Oh yeah and I forgot, jesus christ this show had a fetish of making the scenes really dark, like, hard to see dark, the "is my monitor tilted wrong?" kind of dark.
8/10 - A very enjoyable fantasy-esque sci-fi-ish supernatural psychological-ish show. Could have done with a lot more polish.
Another has seen the light of Shinsekai Yori! Praise be to the animu gods.

Dear lord who the hell has that much cash lying around.
Dear lord who the hell has that much cash lying around.
ridiculously lucky neets? people with (well paying) jobs that have a lot of freetime on their hands and possibly very little RL friends, having no romantic partner? no kids, etc?
Also you can just cancel your pledge after a month or two and still reap the benefits if you downloaded/already received the perks. You also only get charged at the beginning of each month, even if you started pledging in the middle of a month. Forgot if you have to pay up front to prevent people doing hit and runs but I think you can. Doubt shindoL would allow that though and make you pay at least $1000 minimum.

One of my favorite things to do on Pateron is look at the pages of artists who draw porn and look at the list of backers and find the people who have a photo of themselves as their profile picture.

MC's face looks dumb as hell, I'm never gonna stop complaining about this art style. I hate it.
I'd rather say 'each face'.
