I feel like people shouldn't be able to delete tweets/statuses/posts so easily.

I'm sure there's a good reason for deletion functions to exist, but at the same time they're the ultimate backtracking tool.

I can't stand people who can't own up to their words when they've been found to be wrong. They either try to change the conversation, or ignore it outright. Some people just can't grasp the fact that people make fucking mistakes, and that it's OKAY to fuck up, just be sure to own up to it, and clean up your own mess.

Case and point, I have to leave a bunch of cringy, autistic, ranty tweets that really pissed off good friends of mine, because I believe no one should be able to run away with their tail between their legs to hide their fuckups.

My brother works at the major postal company in the Netherlands, and occasionally they send text messages to our house phone. For some reason it lists anonymous calls as 'out of range'.

This morning it went off about 10 times within 5 minutes, and I answered and hung up those calls immediately.

Turns out it was the local hospital trying to inform us that our grandma had been hospitalized due to heart issues. FUCK this postal company.

Do my brothers just have a problem taking on any sort of responsibility? My mom is away for a couple days and of course they basically can't do anything.

I woke up late at like noon to only find the both of them doing nothing; on their phones and laptop. Windows were all closed downstairs and it was stuffy as hell, they needed to open those once it stopped raining and at that point it hadn't been raining for hours. I ask one of my brothers who was sitting next to a window to open it and he gets all pissy, i come back 10 minutes later and he still didn't do it even after I opened all the other ones like wtf. I asked him the last time the dogs were take outside for a walk and to play "they don't need to go out every hour!!" and I repeated my question since he didn't answer it "I don't know a couple hours ago!", like wtf i asked a simple question about pretty much the ONLY responsibility we have atm.

I go and read a book for a little bit before going to go get the mail from the end of our driveway (our driveway is like 1/2 a mile long) and go fill up my car's gas tank. I grab the mail on my way back, and go to give my grandmother her mail (since her house is an addition to ours) and asked if my brother had gotten her the newspaper in the morning: he didn't! It was 4 at this point, so I went back to where our mail and paper are, and sure enough the paper was there stuffed into the back of the paperbox so I didn't see it when I had gotten the mail, plus I had assumed he got the paper already.

Which also meant that neither of them checked up on my grandmother like they were supposed to. And I called my mom, and she had called my brothers at 7 to tell them to take the dogs out so between 7 and 4:30 they had only gone out ONCE until I had taken them out after getting the mail and paper.

Like how do you manage to just not pay attention to anything and then get snippy when you're asked to take a modicum of responsibility.
