I've been absolutely losing my mind over nothing for the past few months and I don't know why.

I feel like I'm about to flip the table and go into a blind rage so Imma just list what's on my mind that pisses me off and in hopes that I'll feel better. My apologies about the long post.

- A friend keeps bugging me to play shit when he blatantly knows I'm doing stuff

He later said he wouldn't do this to another friend, when I called him out on doing the same shit to me he responded "but I actually respect him".

- When I was 14 I did something bad and admitted it to my father, when he went to go see what I did and I started to get upset. He came running back screaming "SHUT UP" repeatedly at the top of his lungs.

- My stepmother has blamed me for being bullied when I was younger, that and has put me down at just about achievement I get.

- My sister will not even talk to me.

- I have no actual friends. Too many people have taken advantage of me in one way or another for me to trust anyone.

- Any and all romantic interests have failed. Two left me after a couple of weeks, one never spoke to me, Two I never said anything too with one of them dying in a wreck.

- I'm infuriated about how people get fucking rich uploading videos of themselves playing video games or something dumb and I can't even get a job to pay my fucking bills.

- I don't like lying to people. Friends lie to me on a daily basis over the most fucking petite of shit and when I call them out on it "it's just a joke man calm down". I was even mocked for it at one point, "thats cool that you follow mommy's golden rule".

And the last thing I get mad at is myself. I can't make myself do jack shit and end doing spending most of the day doing nothing. I get so fucking dissapointed with life that I wish it would just end. I know I shouldn't think like that but god damn it I can't fucking stand it sometimes.

Mom wakes me up like 4-6 times a morning around 8-10 wanting different shit and then gets mad when I don't get up at 11.

I feel like i keep fucking up at my job.

I keep checking my work and it appears to be fine. And then the boss sees one little error and it just makes me feel shit.

Whats even worse is that im a junior in this job, and half the time the other designers here are off so im the only one here and i get given a lot more responsibility and it scares me a bit, and when theres an error, it massively knocks my confidence down.

I got an email from the boss after i packaged something up for him (if i remember rightly, he made me really rush this edit and package it up so i had no time to check for mistakes) and he sent me an email saying "you really NEED to start checking your work, it is getting a touch frustrating"

and just after that, he was checking a bit of my work and the PDF made a logo look like it was slightly cut off, and he told me to check up on it whilst shaking his head like he was annoyed.

I checked it and its completely fine on the document, its just the low res PDF since its only a proof and i didn't get chance to explain myself.

It's just pissing me off and making me feel like im going to be fired from this job for these tiny mistakes.

Let's talk about Crusader Kings 2. Fun game. Fun as fuck game, it can be hilarious, intriguing, entertaining and just downright fun.

But let's talk about the DLC policy, eh? Let's talk the dirty bits of this game.

If you do [B]not[/B] buy the DLC, you are allowed to play:
From 1066 onwards as an orthodox, catholic or coptic character. There are 3 types of "portraits": White, Arab and Indian. That's it.

Want to play as Pagans? Pay up.
Want to play as Muslims? $ please.
Want to play as Indian characters? Hand over the dosh.
Want to reform the Roman Empire? Cash first.
Want to have different looking characters? We accept credit cards.
Want to play as Jews? We'd like to have a word about your purse.
Want people's Coats of Arms to not look like they were made in MS Paint in a hurry? Well surely you have enough for that.

Crusader Kings 2 is $40 USD, and the entirety of the DLC is $160. $200 if you wanted all of the DLC.

Let's say you cut out sprite packs, song packs, coat of arms, clothing and all that, and just want expansions + portraits that don't look like potatoes. That's still $60-70.

Paradox are a small developer even smaller when ck2 first came out so the scope was small-just make a sequel to ck1. so ofc they are going to use dlc to fund the years of constant development is has been in since it was released adding content for free along side the expansions. play the first release build of ck2 its basically playing a different game with hardly any features compared to the latest patch with no dlc

Most of the time I already know this, but if something should be native I should be able to request it to be. I get that mods exist to fix or change stuff but sometimes it breaks other features/it goes incompatible/it might not integrate correctly and look odd.

I'm someone who suffers the hot season a big deal, but I'm trying to perform shit regardless (althought this afternoon I basically gave up writing my degree essay because of the temperature and me having a slight writer's block)
It appears the temperature will lower after tomorrow, though

Try counting numbers, or doing something menial like reciting something you learned, but not chanting it.
Counting is easiest and works some of the time. The idea is to still fall asleep but counting becomes such a habit at that point you can bring it back to the conscious level while still being asleep. The risk is sleep paralysis but it has never happened to me before.

Well the game was released in 2012. I think it's great that it's still getting DLCs (and content updates). It's inevitable that the cost of three years of DLC adds up to a lot of money.

And really those gameplay DLCs are outside the scope of the base game (i.e. a sequel to CK1) and there's absolutely no way all that content could've made it into the initial release considering how niche CK was at the time.
