Shit That Gets You Mad v21 - FUCKING PISSED edition

This one unit on my University course...Is destroying me.
I've got this work ethic where I like being told in nice, clear, concise instructions with dates and deadlines slammed in my face, WEEKS ahead of time. That way its on my mind and I can manage my time to get it done accordingly.
Deadlines on this fucking course have been thrown around almost whimsically, as of last week I was told we had to turn in a major project a entire week early and but earlier today it turns out its still the old and original deadline.
And so I go to the Submission links just to figure out what the flying dicks in hell is going on and I find out there was like two other deadlines we had to send shit in for that I was never EVER fucking told about but I have no idea if this is worth anything or not because there are no mention of these things in the assignment brief and documents. Oh and I'd already missed them.
This unit has been so utterly mismanaged its driving me to complete despair and has affected my other work (hello 70 page monster) and is making me sick with stress.
This has been an on going fight now for the past few months, crossed my breaking point a week ago now I'm getting sick from the work.
I feel like my phone is going to explode or something. The battery or the CPU keeps getting really hot. This only started happening after Lollipop.
Get f.lux it gives a screen a nice brownish tint at night. Your eyes will thank you for it.
No seriously, f.lux is a Godsend for sore eyes at night.
I was suffering very bad eye pain one night and I decided to download it, as soon as it kicked in there was instant relief.
You'll get used to the tint eventually, and as the sun rises the tint goes away and then comes back at night to save your eyes from horrific strain again.
You can also disable it temporarily if you're doing color-sensitive work or whatever.
My toaster broke for the second time this week
I just wanna toast bagels and enjoy breakfast.
Bought MKX off a CDKey site and the wait for the email is killing me. So paranoid that it got lost or took the money and didn't give me the key ahhhh

Stupid anxiety
Apart from my cousin dying sometime ago(he was spoiled, never took care of himself, and was a hoarder), we are still left with junk from his tiny, filthy, apartment that was clogging our garage. We can't sell it since they're old nostalgic items that are not kept in good condition. We can't keep most of it; they won't fit anywhere in the house. Garage is about halfway empty, but it's gonna take a while since it's been about half a year since.
At least I got an expensive desktop out of this.

Can't tell if that was to laugh at the situation I'm in, that my cousin's situation was that funny to you, or something else entirely. True the rest of those moments of his were strange, disgusting, and downright unhealthy, he was still family. We tried everything that we could to help him, but he kept shielding us away, abusing our support, and kept asking for help. In the end, we couldn't do anything because he planned it all anyway.
[sp] Goddamnit, I feel like shit talking about this, but this needs to come off my chest.[/sp]

Your previous post comes across "My cousin died. /.../ Atleast I got a dekstop out of it."
I don't think he was laughing about your cousins death or the current situation you and your family are in. I'm sorry for you loss.
Suicide Squad's Joker looks like absolute shit

Yeah it did come off as a bit bi-polar. I sometimes like to look on the bright side of a real shitty situation. Guess I didn't word it right, or just leave it out altogether. On the other bright side, the garage is nearly cleaned out. :v:
Feels like every god damn thing has to be monetized these days. Just found out the other day youtube intends to have fucking subscriptions or whatever, now I'm going to have to start paying for fucking mods. That's right ladies and gentlemen, you must now pay for amature content that could be a buggy mess only to be discovered after the 24 hour testing period ends or potentially violate copyright laws or whatever the fuck, something that even when it's legitimately done will be a logistical fucking nightmare to properly distribute money for and manage (something Valve will fail amazingly at doing I'm sure)
We live in an era where it's now becoming entirely possible to release a game that isn't fully finished, filled with microtransactions, loaded with DLC, with mods that might even be essential for actually enjoying your game (for example SkyUI) additionally being charged.
companies please stop gouging everyone for their fucking money we aren't made of it, nobody plays games so they can spend money at every turn
Never thought the day would come where I could pirate mods.
or when someone would say to me "everyone complaining just wants free mods".
how the world has changed.

Sounds like it's time for another video game crash.
I feel like too many people immediately balk at anything artistic that they don't understand, declaring it pretentious or whatever, and acting like something being surreal, performance art, even being art made in the modern day, or anything like that automatically makes it shit and pretentious.
Does pretentious, ultimately pointless art exist? Yes, a lot of it. But just because something is weird, doesn't make it automatically pretentious.
It feels like lazy, willful ignorance.
Jesus christ, starting my new job next week, already planned in for 18,5 hours for 2 days :suicide:

The one thing that confuses me about this whole thing is that I thought that you legally couldn't charge for mods because of some copyright thing, but then I guess that isn't the case if this can go ahead unimpeded.
Smoke detectors won't shut the fuck up. There is no fire, I've checked. Now I can't fucking sleep and have to wait on the God damn fire department. I wanna rip them out so badly but I cannot reach them. Who puts smoke detectors so high up...?
My parents wanted a new sofa, so they took my sofa bed

When you're playing killing floor 2, and in the middle of a boss battle... YOU DON'T RUN OFF AND AWAY FROM THE TEAM LIKE A FUCKING DICKHEAD.
Happened twice today, some fucker forgetting that we have a medic and just went full on spergmode. And while we're on the subject why do you play medic if you're just gonna shoot zeds and not heal like you're supposed to?
It boggles my mind that people can be so fucking retarded.
Everytime I collect anything from the postman, it's always open, whether it be a letter or a package. I know it isn't the sender because the senders are usually different and a lot of the time, they're ordinary services ( e.g schools ). It isn't the postman because I swear the postman changes every other day.
I feel like Sherlock Holmes right now.
I really fucking hate it when I shave and then afterwards find a little bit of fluff that I missed

That's like shaving in a nutshell right?
Getting along with someone in real life really well but then you text them and it seems like they don't wanna talk
my friend that i rarely ever talk to always wants to play games i don't and vice versa
Also, while there are certainly bad things being done by gaming companies, a market crash will not fix anything. In fact it only has the power to make things worse due to the position many companies are in.
[editline]25th April 2015[/editline]
people seem to like to treat a market crash as some sort of Deus Ex Machina in which all their gaming woes will be whisked away, and I really don't understand why. A market crash would be bad for every, especially considering the amount of money gaming makes annually now a days.
If the market crashes get ready for even more rehashes/what sells sorts of games and less IPs (in an unstable market you gotta make what SELLS), many people getting laid off, generally quality of the games going down, less and less new people getting into the market because of how unstable it is, less platforms for it.

The difference is developers are getting some portion of 75% of the profits.
