my gpu may be failing in my laptop
i'm going to get dust cleaned out (which may be causing performance issues, hopefully) and get it checked up tomorrow, hoping to god i don't have to buy a 'nother computer, don't exactly have the money for it.

I've had a stomach virus since last Friday and I just want to fucking die.
GTA 5 hates me because I have a shitty PC. Theres a cheating prevention system in place in the game and it pushes laggy players behind, so that they cant use the lag to cheat, but it just makes me unable to finish, let alone win any race.

I painted my desk a few days ago, and let it settle over the last three days.
I just woke up, and plugged my TV back in. In the meanwhile I had my computer already running, and plugged in its HDMI cable, and heard my computer power off the instant I plugged it in. Took a look at the TV itself and my switch, and had to conclude the main breaker tripped.
Went downstairs while everything was left as-is, and I couldn't turn the breaker back on. So I tried unplugging the power cord, and it turned right back on. After I managed to restore the power, I plugged it in again and it all works like nothing happened.
My guess is because I held the HDMI cord, and coax cable in my hand and got zapped.

Is the reason of the maggot inside of the bunny some sort of a fly that puts their eggs into animals as such? IIRC, there is a fly like that.

Thank god for circuit-breakers. I remember the days of fuses and it sucked when those died.

Well, we do have fuses. Those pop every time a circuit is overloaded, but we have the main circuit breaker which cuts off all the circuits once there's an electrical current leaking somewhere.
Luckily though, once one of those fuses pop you'll just unscrew the cap, put a fresh fuse in and screw it back into place, then turn the circuit back on.
Our house is from the 1980s, and pretty much all the electrical is still original.

I feel like America is setting up so many inherently deeply flawed systems that the entirety of everything is going to collapse the fuck in on itself. Entry level jobs that expect you to have experience that you can't get without a job (how do you get that experience? internships that can't support you?), a minimum wage that is fucking meaningless because one cannot actually support themselves on one minimum wage job, making it entirely arbitrary what the minimum wage is, a steadily rising expectation that you [I]must[/I] go to college no matter who you are, which is a backbreaking system that nobody but the rich can actually afford, thus massively indebting [I]everyone,[/I] and it produces so many graduates in highly qualified fields that it's slowly cheapening the concept of a college degree anyway, and even once you're done, you [I]still[/I] can't get a job.
Maybe I'm naive, but as a system it seems entirely fuckin' unsustainable over a long period of time, and I think it's bound for a major collapse eventually.
People who believe that sexism and racism directed towards males/white people isn't sexism/racism. Not much infuriates me, but this certainly does.

My mom used some weird shit which I thought was some stuff to clean, but turns out it was rat poison.
She also put that stuff on a frying pan on the furnace, which I used to bake those potatoes.
Now I'm scared as fuck that stuff is still harmful, even after it was exposed to high temperatures, and I quickly washed it with cold water underneath the faucet.
Could this stuff be harmful if anything was left in the frying pan?
I would get rid of the pan immediately tbh...

I had to buy 5,000 pages of the Australian master tax guide for like $250 for my tax accounting course this semester. The course isn't offered in semester 2, but when it comes back for semester 1 next year the 2016 master tax guide will be out and my 2015 books will be worth exactly $0 because the tax legislation changes every year.
