i'm so tired of her "I'm very friendly with acquaintances and people I know but I wont let anyone near my feelings/interests/hobbies/opinions/everything" way of life. She probably has a reason to be that way? I'm almost literally the same because of personal reasons and experiences. Whether or not you're "tired of it" doesn't erase the validity of why she's apparently so guarded.
If you legitimately cared, you'd be more patient than that.

So our District's incompetent "Board of Education" ordered each of the Algebra 1/2, and Geometry EOC from Utah, thing is these tests had a 20% success rate, so of course it's a good idea to piss away money on them!
Unsurprisingly the tests bombed so hard they've been thrown out and we get to take a new exam on the final week of school. Fucking amazing.

I've got an internship at a restaurant, which has mice. So in the evenings they put these mousetraps, but not normal mousetraps. It's sticky traps, so the mouse literally can't get away.

I don't even swear around my parents and i'm 26. I only swear around friends and siblings and online; it just seems awkward to swear around my folks. IDK why.

oh I've also had 2 English teachers tell me that fuck is the greatest word in the English language because it's so damn versatile.
It can be used as a noun, adjective, verb, etc, not to mention depending on how its used can denote a wide variety of emotions.
Yeah, there are idiots who overuse swears - a good example of that was when I saw Motley Crue and KISS live and the lead singer of Motley Crue fit "Fuck" after like every word, or when I went to see Sabaton back in October and inbetween the first opening act and Sabaton there was this guy who was some editor for some metal magazine who did the same damn thing. It's tedious.
But, swearing is an effective tool when not overused, plus you have to know your audience. You're not going to go up to the queen and say "Yea cunt this palace is right fucking fit mate".
A good example of using swears is Marina and the Diamond's song "Starring Role".

There it displays an emotion of just pure, pent up frustration by someone at the end of their ropes, and tbh there's no better way of representing that.
yeah sorry about all this stuff on swearing I just really like languages and swearing is a part of that.
Dunno why but the more I'm in college the messier the study/social area gets.
I'm sick of it, after the half-term I'm gonna have to talk to someone about it. It's possible there is a bunch of students from one particular course that are acting like pigs.
