I think physical fighting in general (unless its a controlled sport) is stupid. It's for the the unintelligent people to try and beat the other unintelligent person instead of calmly talking out your differences because you're to stupid to comprehend other peoples opinions or reasonings.

I honestly don't understand how people get into physical situations? If anybody has ever had a go at me (its rare and the only ever time is when someone is drunk and they think that i think im a big guy) and i always manage to diffuse the situation with words and reason. Most of the time i end up making them feel like an idiot for trying to fight me and somehow making friends with them in the end.

If you've been able to talk your way out of it so far, you haven't met someone hell-bent on smashing your face in yet. Sometimes it just isn't possible to talk your way out of it. Like i said, it's rare that i get in fights, but when someone has tried to start on me, ignoring them doesn't help, just gets them angrier, fighting them is just a 100% fool proof plan to have a stupid smash up and get in trouble, but talking them down and telling them that i have no reason to fight them and tell them that the girls over to the right or left of them are looking quite fresh for some of his meat. It's literally diverting their attention and calming them down. I'd say its happened at least 7 or 8 times to me and each one i've managed to talk my way out of. Even when i've been with mates and they've had some big fight up and then one of the "rivals" mates decided to try and go for me, i managed to defuse mine and his situation so we just stood to the side and laughed at out mates fighting each other.
For fuck sakes I'm sick of seeing during discussion on same-sex marriage that 'oh we shouldn't worry about allowing same-sex couples to marry, there are bigger problems to deal with'. Like come on, literally all that needs to happen is a few fucking words need to be changed in the marriage legislation and that's it, done. It doesn't need to be a big deal with all this discussion and all; the people making it a big deal are the people against it. And then statements like that are incredibly disrespectful to same-sex couples anyways, as the fact that the state won't recognise their marriage as legitimate is a pretty big problem for them. It's far more relevant for an average Australian than 'bigger problems' such as whether or not to bomb ISIS. I'm not even gay so I have nothing to gain from same-sex marriage being allowed, but why should what other people think determine whether or not two consenting adults can marry?
I thought I'm an alright worker, still young, still don't exactly have it down how work works, etc. But now I'm being told I'm too slow according to the companies standards. I keep doing a little bit from random areas not left to right. I hope I can get it across to my coworkers that I still have potential and can get it together to meet their standards... It's really painful to hear that out of the three new guys, I'm the worst

i came into the posession of a lost iphone, it was traded to me by a friend for about £50 worth of stuff, i didnt know it was lost and that it wouldnt work. so feeling kinda jipped i shrug it off and just returned the iphone to the person it belonged to

Not something that gets me mad, but I found this baby bird outside while taking trash out. I didn't know what to do with it so I moved it off the hot driveway and into the shade, hopefully it's mother finds it.
