And then I had to stay even later than my normal shift to cover for some asshole who didn't bother showing up, and they didn't let me stay long enough to get the full 8 hours in. They then had me haul over 10 grand to the bank, what the hell. What also pisses me off is that I do a lot of the work around there while other people are lazy as shit. Also, like 4 people quit already, and another one is quitting, and they aren't even hiring anyone new yet.

You really should move on to windows 10. It's never a good thing for developers when tons of users are sticking to outdated software they have to work around.

Or hell, even just move on to 8.1 and install something like startisback or start8 which will make the OS aesthetically just like windows 7, with the fullscreen bullshit all but disabled.

it's faster and brings a few nice things to the explorer, not bad at all. it also has window key + s which i use to launch and find pretty much everything

Windows 10's meant to be a lot less resource-intensive, so Windows 10 will probably be faster, if not a lot better than 7.
