I just scored a 50% on a quiz because I didn't read the whole problem for five of the questions. This one in particular makes me the most mad.

What is the output of the following segment of code if 4 is input by the user when asked to enter a number?

I claim to be good at programming, but yet I overlook stupid mistakes like this.
At first appearance, the correct answer would be 3 because 4 was input, right? Nope! Because there's not "break;" in there, it all just falls through to default which makes the correct sequence of events

13 + 6
19 + 4
and I just feel like a stupid person.

i know it has to be hard to deal with if you're single but i really can't fault someone for having achieved a relationship they love being in -- they just feel so happy about it and want others to feel that same way. what use is it to try to take it away from them?

so i built my new computer (with some help)
but it wouldn't even POST (it would turn on, fans spin up (especially CPU fan for some rasin), and then they would turn off and restart, all without giving a display)
i went out and got a return on the mobo since that's what we thought was going on and bought a new one, still didn't work
we contemplated trying to replace the CPU but for some reason when we took everything out and left 1 stick of ram in, it booted to bios
we stuck everything back in except the other stick and it worked fine, i even got win8.1 to install
but for now i'm stuck with my laptop until i buy 2 new sticks tomorrow (returning them too)

I courtesy flush the toilet, so that I don't stink up the entire hallway. Meaning, she got to flush the toilet, but nobody else after can. I am forced to bend over the now-disgusting noxious toilet and reach for the water valve to get water in the tank.

You know, your step dad reminds me of my uncle. He is fucking crazy, in fact he might be worse than your step dad. He is the step dad of my older cousin but not my younger cousin. He gets angered extremely easy, he is a stuck up egoistical asshole whom the whole family hates, he has no respect for anyone, not even strangers or other family members and he just doesn't give a shit about anyone.
A few days ago we've sort of celebrated my younger cousin's bday and he was feeling a bit sad for some reason, then my uncle snapped and started angrily shouting and swearing for like minutes at him for no reason threatening him to take away his computer etc... while everyone else had to listen in the kitchen.
Similiar things happened before years ago, when we celebrated my older cousin's birthday and he got into an arguement with my grandfather and great grandmother over some pointless shit and they just both angrily left. He apologized to them later on but i doubt he meant it.
A few months ago, he and my aunt was taking me and my parents to the airport which is a few hours away, and whenever a car would pull in front of him on the highway he'd start aggressively swearing and shouting and cursing everything and everyone.
He also made my cousin's girlfriend leave quit from her job since they run a small shop and he was her boss. I don't know the details but she was constantly being harassed and living in fear or terror or something and couldn't stand it anymore.
Luckily though he isn't always around since he works a lot and goes hunting or does whatever but he has some serious issues, not sure how my aunt can stand him. She just seems to laugh it off... He doesn't beat her or anything and they just recently got married after being together for like 15 years or something like that but i've heard rumours that it was only because of the business they run apparently there were some legal restrictions so they had to get married.

I have all three of those, and I can attest to how much they suck. Especially tinnitus because a lot of the times I can't tell if that sound is just in my ear or if everyone can hear it and I sound insane when I'm talking about this noise that no one else can hear.
