I use only my index fingers and my thumb for space and I usually win on those typing race games. (WPM of about 95)

I voted seven, because my left ring finger never moves away from s, so it's pretty much a dead finger when it comes to typing. I use all others though. Just to be witty, I'm going to say it's impossible to type with 10 fingers unless you have a deformation, seeing as thumbs aren't fingers.

6 for some odd reason. i type normally with my left hand, but only my middle finger on my right hand. can still type fast as fuck though so whatever.
