I am going to UCSD as a pre-med student but if I had unlimited time and resources, I would study Iranian History.
Interesting, why Iranian?
Interesting, why Iranian?
I am Iranian and I think its important to understand the cultural heritage of oneself. Also, Iranian culture is over 5000 years old so there would be much to learn.
Has to be Space and Science, I dont know why, but the universe and particles intrest me greatly.
Oh no, that's what I wanted to know, thank you. I just meant to the other guys, if they had anything in mind if they wanted to study something such as physics. For me, I view psychology one of those topics that would be endlessly useful, which is why i'm taking it next year. I don't know too much about it though.
Psychology's really interesting, when you say 'taking it', do you mean school, uni or what?
May I ask what got you interested in it?
essentially; visiting new zealand. something about it completely captured me, and i find the polynesian history really interesting.
Physics or Engineering.
Already doing both and it's quite boring. Anyhow I would probably go for music and philosophy.
Propane and propane accessories.
Latin is where the shit's at.
^ yes. i forgot about that! my dad was supposed to teach me years ago (got an MA in Classics) but we just never got around to it. it's supposed to help you learn other languages too?
Caecilius est in horto. :eng101:
Latin, fencing, finish my berserker warschool which also doubles as studying it, Krav Maga and a selection of other martial arts. Wait, did you mean just school classes? Oh. Latin and Icelandic. Nothing else.
They made us study Latin in English :wtc: I know I'm tooting it's horn, but a-level English has probably been the most rewarding thing I've ever done.
i dropped English after GCSE. don't regret a minute of it. words aren't really my thing. language is interesting, but i find design and music more interesting.
i dropped English after GCSE. don't regret a minute of it. words aren't really my thing. language is interesting, but i find design and music more interesting.
Each to their own. Of course, I definitely still find music more interesting. [editline]23rd May 2011[/editline] I've taken courses that after finishing them, I've (Quite frustratingly) completely forgotten most of the content: AS/A2-Physics, AS-Chemistry, AS-Biology, AS/A2-Computing, AS-Maths/Mechanics (I don't count General Studies or Critical Thinking :downs:). I don't remember hardly anything from them -complete waste of time. AS-Psychology and AS/A2-English are the subjects that really sunk in. I guess that means I'm more of an abstract thinker (Quantum Physics is abstract :words:) than a logic/numerical thinker. Bring on Music! :v:
Philosophy, religion, psychology, physics, programming. I've been studying the first three independently for years, and am majoring in programming.
What I want to understand is life. But just one try isn't enough :(
Physics, Programming and Digital Art.
Psychology's really interesting, when you say 'taking it', do you mean school, uni or what?
I'm taking A.P Psych for my Senior year of high school. However, I'm not very knowledgeable on the whole A-level conventions I suppose Europe uses (or just the U.k?)
Probably new history (1850 - 2011) Like how Hitler got the power and that shit seems kind of interesting to me...
Already doing both and it's quite boring. Anyhow I would probably go for music and philosophy.
I can't speak to engineering but physics is certainly not boring
I can't speak to engineering but physics is certainly not boring
Some subjects in physics are far from boring but what we get at the moment is really basic and boring. Engineering isn't boring either but it isn't something for me. [editline]dude[/editline] I just said both were boring because I had to type less that way. [editline]dudette[/editline] And if you were wondering why I chose to do engineering: It is because I had to pick a path without languages besides Dutch and English, I wouldn't have done as well in school if I had German or French.
Bah, the hell with usefulness. I'd like to learn Irish Gaelic and Icelandic.
True old english
True old english
Shit I dunno how I forgot that one. [editline]23rd May 2011[/editline] Also, psychiatry.
astronomy! used to love it as a kid, still do.
OOH and economics. If I wasn't a physics major I'd probably be a math major. After that, probably economics.
OOH and economics. If I wasn't a physics major I'd probably be a math major. After that, probably economics.
Economics is fascinating, I was torn between pursuing that or law, next year.
Has to be Space and Science, I dont know why, but the universe and particles intrest me greatly.
That is because we are made of both particles & mostly empty space.. :)
programming/coding and animation
Porn.
I would like getting into Law. I already debate for fun, I might as well earn some bucks from it. :v:
