Section 8: Prejudice died to young.
Doom 3
Tactical ops : assault on terror UT99 Svencoop
Strike Vector. It kinda got going but never picked up any steam and fizzled real quick. The price tag to content ratio probably didn't help much either but it is a great game.
City of Heros. That was the only MMO I was REALLY able to get into. I loved the concept, I felt it was very well done, I'd pay to have it back.
Battlefield 2142 Easily one of the best battlefield games to date. But since I last played it most of the community has moved on to BF3/4. Which is a shame because the Titan mode was the greatest gamemode to every be in the Battlefield series.
Team Fortress Classic It is a completely different game for TF2, and it's fun. I had a lot of fun on the [Evil] Dustbowl server and I was surprised to find that people still play it when I first got the game in 2011. I played it until 2013, when the active community suddenly disappeared. And Fortress Forever, the community may be alive but what I'm talking about is the Asian community. As someone who lives on the other side of the world, it's hard to find a match with players in. The last time I had played in a server with players was two years ago. I wish that more people have headed of Fortress Forever, especially the Asian gaming community. Not a single Asian player that I know of knew what a mod is.
Dungeon Siege.
so much this The online non-direct connect got killed off almost a decade ago now so finding people to play with is like impossible I still kinda want to get a small group of people and play through the campaigns, also lobbies to show off modified chars were fun too
Crashday. Seriously, it had some pretty zany custom maps and satisfying gameplay, but the fact that it only ran on Windows XP ensured that its demise would come around after a while.

Guys, this isn't meant to be an advertisement, but I've found many of the games on a site that basically supports old games. It's called gameranger (www.gameranger.com). There's a whole list of game there and many of your games are on it. Obviously no source mods but many others.

The Hidden: Source. I played that game every day for almost a year, met my best friend on it too. Now whenever I rarely do find a server that has people on it, I get instantly called a hacker and everyone leaves. Mainly because I can easily see the Hidden due to how much I played it, and I rarely die as the Hidden. Makes me sad.
PERFECT DARK SOURCE
Tribes 2 People still play it today under the name tribesnext, but its usually a dwindling number of players who are all extremely good at the game. So I can't get into it and have fun because I get smashed by the 10 professionals who still actually play the game.
Saints Row games. I can't find any coop player anymore.
World in Conflict: Soviet Assault
Open Arena It's a free open source arena shooter and somehow very few are actually playing. Only two servers that aren't empty and have actual human players.
Saints Row games. I can't find any coop player anymore.
It's a ton better with a friend rather than some stranger on the web.
F.E.A.R. Not that it doesn't have a decent community but I wish it was helluva alot bigger so we can get a F.E.A.R. 4 that's developed by a good or great developer
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. This was the first game I played online. Back in 2005, the community was vibrant, and just had this magical feel to it. Lugormod, JAplus, Makermod, you name it. Nowhere near as many servers now, and those that are up are usually empty..
International Ragnarok Online. Last time I played it was about 3 years ago. There were about 6000 people spread among 4 servers, half of which were people, possibly running multiple instances of the game, just set up in the main town with a shop. A quarter of the people on were bots either advertising sites to "buy" money or farming items. Granted its not a great game by any stretch, but it sort of deserves better than 1.5k people over 4 servers actually playing.
Bloody Good Time Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
Battlefield 2142 :c
Puzzle Pirates, that shit was fun especially the whole politics/blockading and stuff.
Might & Magic: Dark Messiah I played that until the master servers vanished. (Thanks Ubisoft)
Armored Core Verdict Day. I helped my team out a lot as a operator, although I tend to do story missions with my UNACs. Now there's a insane lack of active players. Makes me wonder if many people ragequit and left the community.
Warcraft 3, community may as well be dead, it's all dota now. And other custom games are hosted by bots en masse with no one joining. If blizzard got rid of those bots the game would be like a million times better.
You know, when you're 18 years old and see that Warcraft 3, Battlefield 2142, Jedi Academy, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, The Specialists, Call of Duty 4 and other games' communities are dead, you just want to cry. Growing up is really hard in this regard.
Team Fortress Classic I really want to try how it goes, but the closest occupied server is somewhere in US. [editline]1st April 2014[/editline] And that's not good. [editline]1st April 2014[/editline] Probably being occupied by veterans and I'll end up not having fun.
