Just saw Ghost in The Shell 2: Innocence. The plot was much easier to understand. It was was about this sexdroids going nuts and killing their owner. Batou and Togusa are sent to investigate what the hell's happening. I kinda understood the ending this time too, so that already makes it better than the first one. The studio had a higher budget this time, so the animation was kickass this time around. Especially the fight scenes and firefights. The characters actually looked somewhat like their show counterparts (except for Aramaki and Ishikawa). There was shitloads more philosophical undertones and discussions. Stuff like "why does man spend so much time creating a robot in his own image?" And they kept quoting famous people like Buddha, guys from the bible, and other people. Like Togusa quoted Psalms 139 Old Testament: "How great is the sum of thy thoughts? If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand." But I didn't really get them :eng99: I liked it much better than the first one. More mindfuck (there was a scene in Etoforu that was totally whacked out) but easier to understand altogether. The ending theme was nice too.
Oh hey sup guys im back :buddy:
Oh hey sup guys im back :buddy:
I see you did justice to yer name.

I'm tired of waiting for Chapter 41 of K-ON! :sigh:
Then read something else. [editline]04:00PM[/editline] Like Manhole.
What the shit is this. :byodood:
A fucking awesome Biological Horror/Thriller manga.
I think you recommended this a few threads back but I declined wanting to read it.
Yes I did, because :iia: Should give it a try brah.
Ehh, I just don't like it, too weird for me.
No please explain
You're so immersed in internet terminology that you can't seem to deduce the fact that he's joking around, using paw as a literal term, not the furry term for a human's hand. [/explanation] [editline]04:31PM[/editline]
Oh cool new chapter of Prunus Girl.
I'm still waiting until the point where they get to that one part where they're in bed together. Why didn't that /a/ person upload the stuff that he translated? :colbert:

[/explanation]
Seems to me that you are the person not being able to tell that he is joking around.
I'd like to believe that binary isn't joking and that he's serious.
Ehh, I just don't like it, too weird for me.
Pffft. [editline]05:09PM[/editline] Oh yeah, apparently there's a novel that serves as a prequel to the events of Ghost in The Shell Innocence. So gonna get my hands on it.
There's a movie that prequels Innocence. The original Ghost in the Shell. http://myanimelist.net/anime/43/Ghost_in_the_Shell
Yeah I know, I posted my thoughts on it a few pages back.
Yeah I know, I posted my thoughts on it a few pages back.
So is the book you speak of in between the two movies? Or before the first one?
In between the two movies. [editline]05:21PM[/editline] What were you trying to do there by bringing up the fact that there's a first movie?
In between the two movies. [editline]05:21PM[/editline] What were you trying to do there by bringing up the fact that there's a first movie?
When I read your post it sounded like you hadn't heard of the first movie. Which didn't make any sense.
There are two sentences in there that made it pretty clear I've seen the first one. Actually three sentences.

indeed
Damn, Blade of the Immortal reverted to right-to-left at chapter 132. I'm not used to this at all.
I haven't read that in weeks, been filling my romantic comedy needs.
.
I think it's pretty obvious I didn't read that post. [editline]fd[/editline] Rate me bad reading.
Watched Beyond the Clouds the Promised Place Gosh! This was absolutely BOOOOOOOOOOORING. Seriously, this was drop dead boring. It was like watching "5 Centimeters Per Second", just even worse. It only plays on the art, and the art is fine and dandy with lots of vibrant colours, but if that's all you can pull out of your ass, well then, that won't get you far. The story is so incredibly boring and drags on for so long and is incredibly generic. 6/10 - at least it was pretty, and the ending had a nice song.
[img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/downloader/flonne-clap.gif[/img_thumb]
What show is that? I've been meaning to look up that bat/devil/whatever girl for years. I also found out who she was once but then forgot about it.
