Watched Ponyo. It was nice.

Yes. If you try it, be sure to play it for 2-3 days before quitting because it becomes ridiculously more fun once you get hang of the gameplay.
Thanks.
I recommend all newbies on osu! to download the beginner's pack and play it through and through.

The would be and upcoming intermediates and pros, James Training is a must.

Will increase mouse control, rhythm skills and rage control.
Thanks.
Oh, and use Z+X for clicking instead of mouse buttons. Use mouse only for control.
ef~ a tale of memories was very good, but I don't get how once a guy and a girl kisses, sex comes next right away...
Doesn't make any sense to me...
if osu automatically created the beat track or whatever they are I'd play it
audiosurf

Who cares if the show is excellent :v:
Input styles
Try Z/X if mouseclicking and alt clicking is too hard.(this would use both hands, one for mouse and one for Z/X)
If you have the money, see if you enjoy a tablet.
Mess with mouse/ingame sensitivity.
Use a solid color mousepad or a sheet of paper.
Turn off mouse acceleration.(google it, even if you suck right when you turn it off it doesn't matter. it's like changing sensitivity, just get used to it. It should only take a day at most.)
Spinners
Spin small if you spin slowly
Spin large if you have a high dexterity.
Spin the direction that feels natural.
Smaller circles are more controllable.
Repeating sliders
Hold until the moment you have to click the next beat, in case one lasts longer than you expect.
Unfortunately having problems with Repeating Sliders usually boils down to memorizing the map since most don't follow the beat that well.
Offsets
Fix your universal offset, done right you will probably notice a lot less 100s.
If you want to go for acc, get a timing ear for adjusting individual offsets to what you like.
Other
Play maps you can't beat, you'll get better faster. Trust me.
Watch a replay before playing the map.(Autoplay works too, doesn't really matter this is just to prep you for some jumps)
Don't use crappy skins that have too many visual effects that can end up blinding you.
Taiko
Don't hit both keys for the big drums if you're struggling on finishing a song.
Catch the Beat
Use shift to move faster.

Ha, here is a old picture I have on my computer. Goes with this thread.

Audiosurf is not a rhythm game either, it's plainly a music game, I like it, but I don't consider it a challenge or a rhythm game.
Who cares if the show is excellent :v:
True, but I can't rest if something is not right compared to RL :v:
Also, the massive amount of filter rape kinda hurts my head... wonder what the budget was.
Audiosurf is not a rhythm game either, it's plainly a music game, I like it, but I don't consider it a challenge or a rhythm game.
I usually play Audiosurf when I want something relaxed, but I do like Osu!.
Exactly, it's a relaxed music game, anyone who calls it a rhythm game is retarded.

Is this why I suck so much?
Maybe, maybe not.
Explain these offsets to me.
"Turn off mouse acceleration.(google it, even if you suck right when you turn it off it doesn't matter. it's like changing sensitivity, just get used to it. It should only take a day at most.)"
I've always used enchanced pointer precision. Never turned it off in my life. I don't get why it should be turned off.
Can i get some gay/yaoi animie recomendations please?

I think what it does is that it translates how fast you move the mouse and scales the movement of the cursor accordingly, while turning it off makes the mouse move at a uniform pace.

I'm being a bit of a hypocrite here actually, because I have it turned on :v:
But for beginner's trust me, it's better to practice with this off, for anyone who got used to it already, like me, should leave it on as they please. The reason why I recommend this off for newbies is because this requires a really good hand-eye coordination.

:sissies:
Explain these offsets to me.
Offset is the time where the music is supposed to begin and where it syncs with the music. A correct offset differs on every player, it all depends human wise and computer wise, so hardware your ears and reflexes are the factors.

So basically...fiddle around with it so that the music's beats and the map match up? My god, where can I find this?
