i used to be extremely unhealthy too, no excise, smoker, laziness, eating fat food and i didn't imagine i would ever get to run a ½ marathon but i did it in the end and it because of will and having a goal to achieve, you don't need to re-arrange your current lifestyle that much, just get out and doit and you'll feel fresh and energized when you're done.

some nights i dont sleep at all. i binge drink. i smoke fairly often. + do some other drugs
some days i dont eat, other days i eat shitloads. i rarely drink water.
if i sleep, i sleep at around 2-3am and wake up at noon.
i never used to be like this :(
