The reason why it took so long the first day I was writing the software for this was because before I settled on just making a simple 9GAG/FunnyJunk-esque banner watermark, I was researching invisible watermark algorithms.

Unfortunately, I didn't go through with it because:

1) The watermark stuff is suppose to be an ironic joke that should have died already
2) All of the research papers on invisible watermark algorithms produced ambiguous watermarks that were, in my opinion, worthless to the average Internet user[/QUOTE]

1) Yea, mine was a ironic joke aswell, but i was bored and some people asked for it so...
2) I could make mine transparent through the image but i don't have PS installed for alpha channels
3) This was a 1 hour work application.
4) Didn't bother to look for algoritms. (See 1)
