I used to be a pizza shop delivery driver at the start of the year, I can confirm that this is pretty much true. It was an expectation for me to deliver pizzas pretty quickly (I never had a late delivery) and to do so you had to bend some laws. Basically, all pizza drivers make illegal turns, some drift around corners and most speed down backstreets; you just have to look out for other cars and especially police officers.
