Dead at 100 degrees celsius? What the heck?
212 degrees Fahrenheit? Yeah I'd say you're going to die.
Dead at 100 degrees celsius? What the heck?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure you'd be dead by the time you reach the point where the surface of your eyeballs is boiling.
Can one of our English brethren confirm that the international version is an actual rude gesture?
212 degrees Fahrenheit? Yeah I'd say you're going to die.
I can sit in 100 degrees celsius sauna several minutes without problems, so I don't see your point.
Can one of our English brethren confirm that the international version is an actual rude gesture? This one just seems kind of bullshit.
It is a rude gesture over here.
Dead at 100 degrees celsius? What the heck?
Your body temperature is 36 celsius.
It is, I'm not English but I know that a "backwards peace sign" is basically like the middle finger. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V_sign#V_sign_as_an_insult
Huh, the more you know.
It started in the middle ages when people used to poach animals, if they did then they would have thier fingers chopped of (those 2) so they couldn't poach, it was used as a way to go "Nah nah, you have't caught me"
212 degrees Fahrenheit? Yeah I'd say you're going to die.
No you don't. You can sit in a 100C sauna for a while no problem, and in the world sauna championships they go well beyond that.
I can sit in 100 degrees celsius sauna several minutes without problems, so I don't see your point.
Just because your surroundings are 100 Celcius that doesnt mean your body temperature is 100 Celcius
I can sit in 100 degrees celsius sauna several minutes without problems, so I don't see your point.
The difference being is that in a Sauna you're surrounded by moisture. If it were 100 degrees celsius outside you can bet your sweet ass that there would be little to no moisture in the air which would make your body boil.
Just because your surroundings are 100 Celcius that doesnt mean your body temperature is 100 Celcius
Yeah but that picture had nothing to do with body temperature.
I can sit in 100 degrees celsius sauna several minutes without problems, so I don't see your point.
The point, I believe, is that the premise was an outside temperature reading, and 100°C, while quite bearable for some 15 minutes in a sauna, would be entirely deadly as a constant environmental temperature.
