I remember reading about some of that. Batman is forced to time travel(I forget why), he wars with a tribe(the Bat tribe) of neanderthals. As a cowboy he get shot by Jonah Hex. Back in earlier Gotham he plays the part of a detective and investigates his parents' murder.
