Everything checked out fine. Nothing's wrong with me outside of my digestive issues. But they said I should change my diet and take laxatives regularly to help against it because it's not good to have it happen as often as it does. So yeah, no tumor, no ass-cancer, I'm good.
So what do you have exactly? Sounds like they are waiting for another episode to happen, because they don't want/too lazy to investigate more, or they just didnt know whats the diagnosis What did they do? colonoscopy? ct scan? Or they only do that finger-ass examination?
Almost certain it's just an infected blood vessel. If there's no discomfort then it will eventually heal itself. In the meantime treat your ass nicely and you'll be fine.
I saw this thread and immediately thought of this:
Thank you for coming to Facepunch for your critical medical needs. I'm Dr. Mengele. After I carefully analyzed your case, I have come to the conclusion that you likely suffer from either Patau syndrome or Polio. Drink lots of water and remember to get a good night's rest.
duh theres nothing to diagnose he got bright blood its obvious what happened dont play doctor on the internet
Thats why I wanted to know what did they do to investigate. If they only do digital and proctoscope examination and saw something (hemorrhoid or fissure) then it would explain the bright red blood. But he didnt mention what he got so maybe they didnt told him what he got (which might mean they didnt discover the exact cause)

I bled from my anus a lot of time, actually. It doesn't have to be something serious. It can be just a really small cut caused by your massive shit in your intestines or something, which will heal soon. It's often nothing to worry about, unless you shit liters of blood every day or something. It can also rarely be some form of bowel cancer, but thats probably not the case. Tip: if you go to the doctor, theres a large chance they will stick a camera up your pooper,so prepare. [editline]20th August 2013[/editline] Pageking talking about cameras in anuses. Amazing isn't it.
no other diagnosis makes sense because the bleeding hasnt been consistent if the bleeding was consistent then thered be cause for alarm, otherwise examination would be pointless and a waste of resources .
OP- "I have had digestive system issues all of my life." "I bled, a lot" That might warrant some simple investigation. I'm almost certain the doctor did it, but since he didnt mention what he got so maybe they didnt discover the cause. But if he saw a crappy doctor then he might have not been examined at all. I've seen a 60 years old lady coming to clinic comlplaining of bleeding, but the doctor didnt do any kind of examination at all, or take any comprehensive story. When I asked, the doctor said "lets just wait for another 2-3 weeks and see what happens". Im certain that complains of bleeding would necessitate at least digital rectal examination, but no
