how? they're not scamming them in any way, the girl just wanted to get people to fund her project and they did, voluntarily, and knowing the money was going to a 9 year old girl so she could make an RPG.
I don't see what the issue is.
"Send my daughter to RPG camp" is not a valid project, and "Fund my life" projects are also against their rules.

P. sure her mother is a millionaire.
Now if they were looking to fund some kind of after-school program to teach girls about programming / technology in general - that would be different. I would back a cause like that. In that kind of scenario they could easily plan out how the money will be split up, in terms of hiring necessary personnel and developing lesson plans and etc...
But 'please give me money to attend rpg camp because im a girl and my brothers are mean' is not something I would donate to. Her mother should just foot the bill and be done with it, this isn't teaching her daughter how to get something she wants.
