Alright, new plan. I'm going to ride this computer out for the rest of the year. I just did the math and if I'm VERY careful, I can pay down my car, and my private loans by the end of December and still put away a few hundred bucks for maintenance/emergency funds for the car as well. I'd love a new machine, but I just can't justify being able to play games slightly better at the expense of letting debt go unchecked. Once this year is done with I'll just have my federal loans left, which should he totally manageable and open up a lot of opportunity for a little luxury spending. (Assuming I don't get fired/laid off in the process.)
I think that's a smart move. That's why I'm not upgrading my GPU right now, as much as I'd like to. My car and student loan payments come first.

Plus I'm still excited about owning one of the few 2005 Subaru Legacy GT wagons with a manual transmission. That's better than a new GPU any day of the week.
I finally asked out this girl I've had a thing for since around November, and got turned down. We're still friends and all that, but shit still sucks. At least she was pretty much direct about not wanting to get into anything right now instead of most girls I've been interested in that wait a full week just to say "I'm still getting over X" or "I think we should just be friends".

I tried to but I ended up messing up the partitions which took about an hour or two to fix. Not worth the hazzle.
And either way, VMWare works like a charm. I installed Steam and most games run just fine. Besides, I can switch back and forth when I need too in an instant.
