wait...curse rotted greatwood is optional??
pretty sure it is optional since it only leads you to an area where you get access to a covenant
they have pointy hats
ah i remember them beat em on the first try I feel like the games as a whole got easier after Ds1, something about their patterns seemed a bit fucked up i never played dark souls 2 vanilla but in scholar about 70% of the bosses i beat on the first try, which is kinda silly imo
tbh this is all a learning experience gonna come back in NG+ and destroy every boss single-handed
MGS1 and 2 have great atmosphere
pretty sure it is optional since it only leads you to an area where you get access to a covenant
oh, it's optional but you get a very important item for beating it so it's almost non-optional on a normal run

also i'm not too dejected about having trouble w/ this boss since for the first time ever i'm not using a shield at all and this is a new experience for me
and there's me finding dark souls 2 completely ridiculous in difficulty compared to dark souls 1 it really is fucking weird how some people find ds2 easier while others find ds2 harder
order ya played? the general consensus is that the first DS game you play is gonna be your toughest, literally all your muscle memory and overall game feel carry over to the other ones, you go into them a seasoned vet
and there's me finding dark souls 2 completely ridiculous in difficulty compared to dark souls 1 it really is fucking weird how some people find ds2 easier while others find ds2 harder
maybe it's just down to playstyle that decides if somebody finds ds2 easier or harder than ds1
and there's me finding dark souls 2 completely ridiculous in difficulty compared to dark souls 1 it really is fucking weird how some people find ds2 easier while others find ds2 harder
3 is the easiest i think just because of how solid the gameplay is 2 felt fine to me until i'd sunk decent time into 3 and then went back now it feels horrible but if they all had the same quality of gameplay 2 would prob be the easiest by far
My skin is only a disguise [sp] i am actually a skeleton[/sp]
i never beat DS1 so that one is probably the hardest lmao
order ya played? the general consensus is that the first DS game you play is gonna be your toughest, literally all your muscle memory and overall game feel carry over to the other ones, you go into them a seasoned vet
DS1, DS2, DS3 never did finish DS1 or DS2 but i really should get around to them now
i never beat DS1 so that one is probably the hardest lmao
DS1 is easier compared to DS2
DS1 feels like everyone has arthritis DS2 feels like everyone is made of foam DS3 is pretty much perfect
i never beat DS1 so that one is probably the hardest lmao
i feel like it's the tightest, there's not as much room for silly willies in terms of execution imo the hardest boss in the series is still biggie smalls, no other boss ever gave me so much trouble that being said it's been years since i've played DS1 so maybe they'd be easier for me now
DS1 is easier compared to DS2
this is weird because i beat 2 95% by myself only used coop up to the pursuer which is probably an hour into the game and i'm not good at video games
fuck now i'm gonna go play DS1
i feel like it's the tightest, there's not as much room for silly willies in terms of execution imo the hardest boss in the series is still biggie smalls, no other boss ever gave me so much trouble that being said it's been years since i've played DS1 so maybe they'd be easier for me now
idk who ur talkin about but i quit @ einstein and smeagol
DS1, DS2, DS3 never did finish DS1 or DS2 but i really should get around to them now
what the hell, what stopped you? lack of interest or difficulty? [editline]9th July 2016[/editline]
idk who ur talkin about but i quit @ einstein and smeagol
yeah that's snorlax and pikachu
i still think i like DS2 more than 1 but even tho i'm only 14 hours into 3 i already like it hands down more than the first 2 it just feels so good, if i wasn't bad at games i'd never be able to put it down
I think I just kicked my cat in the face while walking in the dark
i still think i like DS2 more than 1 but even tho i'm only 14 hours into 3 i already like it hands down more than the first 2 it just feels so good, if i wasn't bad at games i'd never be able to put it down
It's a pretty common opinion. Other than the PVP changes, from what I've seen most people say that DS3 is the best of the series gameplay wise. This is making me want to go back and play it some more even though I've beaten it like 5 times now :v:
Ds1 will always be my favorite due to how memorable it was DS2 and DS3 feel super generic at times (ok only a little generic for DS3) while DS1 was like the greatest map in video game history, everything is so detailed and connects perfectly together in both terms of lore and gameplay
tbh my biggest issue w/ the dark souls series is how much people focus on "LOOK HOW HARD THIS GAME IS" to the point where when you try and ask for help (not talking about u guys) people just end up talking about how much easier X thing was for them which does not help at all and that translates over to the games themselves where they withhold knowledge from the player to their detriment i get that it's one of those "we don't hold your hand" games but if you want to focus on hard fights that take skill i think it's important to teach the player how to utilize the very basic gameplay tools and strategies a few dev-placed floor messages doesn't really cut it imo i think a bit more information would let them up the difficulty a bit without alienating half the player base
the thin men in xcom could have been expanded upon I want more
and tbh i think it's a shame that they've come up with a really interesting lore and plot over all the games and then force the player to dig through every item they have to find out anything about what they're doing when they never tell you to do that in the first place i always wonder how many people have gone through the games knowing literally nothing about the plot
the thin men in xcom could have been expanded upon I want more
you can expand their corpses as they explode
