because i like to bandwagon
Where the Games at? Over Priced Uncompatable with windows application, hard drives formatted NTFS, my printer, a shitload of programs, etc. What company makes mac?, Apple, what companies make PCs? Asus, HP, Dell, etc. or you can custom build, (a.k.a alot of variety) Finderbar sucks The new Macbook mouse makes no sense to me, and most mouse gestures are retarded
I have nothing against MACs except that microsoft have made all new games Windows only
Microsoft doesn't really make games. They publish a couple, but there's not much in terms of developing.
I don't like pre-built computers.
"i haet maks they r dum and gey and ovurprice nd stoopid and Os is bad" Have half of you ever used a fucking mac? I'm on a macbook and I barely use the fucking touchpad because I can navigate basically anywhere without the mouse. OS = much more stable than Windows. I don't know how the hell people can stand windows anymore, after switching to this macbook 1 year ago I've had ONE error where it PROMPTED me to restart the computer, not like windows where you have to figure out what the fuck happened to solve the damn thing. Also how the hell can you people use an OS which was built as a goddamn APPLICATION for DOS? My dad always complains because he has to restart his PC every week because it becomes so goddamn slow as he is always using multiple programs at once and Windows is fucking memory-leak kingdom. I haven't restarted my mac once other than for updates or when I had that error. And it runs like a beauty for months. Also customization, big fucking deal. You aren't getting bad hardware at all and you pay for the stability that comes along with it.
They suck, and my friend thinks his 600$ laptop is better than my 4000$ build.
I have no reason to hate macs. Other's prefer gaming to simplicity. It's all a matter of opinion.
http://www.apple.com/games/articles/2009/10/bioshock/
I just looked at the prices for their games. They have some good game but... 60 BUCKS FOR STAR WARS: Battlefront? 20 for PLANTS VS ZOMBIES? The fuck?!
no games, general fanbase are retards, i hate the interface, it's like idiot optimized or something.
That's exactly what it is. It's optimized for idiots, it's so dumbed down that people who actually know how to use computers are completely lost.
That's exactly what it is. Then he told me you have to delete it from the recycle bin too :argh:
Reasons for me hating Mac's (Most only apply to iMac, My parents have one.) No USB ports on the front Speakers are shit Stock Mouse+Keyboard are shit Cost 4x what my PC cost
I don't hate them, I just can't justify spending so much money on a computer that isn't fast as the PC equivalent at that price.
I just looked at the prices for their games. They have some good game but... 60 BUCKS FOR STAR WARS: Battlefront? 20 for PLANTS VS ZOMBIES? I died a little that day.
useless, expensive. One time I had to print and do some formatting on 4 pages of homework on a Mac and after 20 minutes I had got around 20 errors or stuff I was bothered with. Not to mention all the fanboys.
My friend has MW 1 on his macbook and he plays using the trackpad to aim and spacebar to shoot... ...He says it's much better than a mouse and keyboard. Today at in Business Studies the teacher brought up the mac in an example then the whole class is like "macs are so awesome" (in a nutshell) Then I kept my opinion to myself and then died a little inside
Unfortunately, here at FP it's "cool" to be seen hating Macs. I'm pretty sure like 80% of you have never actually used a Mac before for any extended period of time and are just jumping on the hate bandwagon.
Why would it be "cool" to hate Macs on a internet forum? I've used Macs several times and they're still dumb and expensive. No reason to buy them except for being hip.
I don't know, that's what I want to know.
Did you stop reading that post after the word "cool"? [editline]08:12AM[/editline]
I don't know, that's what I want to know.
You didn't read the rest of the post.
I don't like macs because they're overpriced pieces of tin. The OS isn't so bad, but the specs of their computers are shit unless you pay for the most expensively overpriced one and do music editing or video software....
ive been using macs since i was first introduced to computers, i hated microsoft windows until i was about 13-14 years old when i found out about PC-gaming and all of a sudden i changed and i started to see the flaws in the OS and now im sick tired of this shitty OS that has barley any support for anything it's just shiny, thats all. im using a mac right now because the pieces for my first own computer has not shown up yet (im 17 ;_;)
Not this shit again.
You know, after talking to a friend in class, somehow the topic of my phone and MP3 player came up. After I showed them to him (Sansa and HTC Fuses) he made the comment "Wow, someone who is deliberately avoiding Apple products." Then I realized it's not that hate Apple products, I hate not being able to have total control over what I own. The Iphone/pod/pad all run a locked down operating system, and OSX will only install on Apple hardware and has a limited library of software that costs an arm and a leg to get. My Sanza Fuse I can rockbox if I ever want to, and my HTC Fuse has Android ROMs floating around the internet, and I'm well within any rights to do so.
Not as many games can be played on them :/
No right click, ( and dont go fucking saying, hurr you can hold ctrl ) FUCK YOU, that's not right click is it? it may do the same, but it isn't a right click. They're stupidly expensive, lots of things are not compatible, and i find them tedious and slow to use.
I had an incredibly shitty experience back in Grade 7. I found it rather appaling that they were incapable of running their own word processing software. Yes. A word processor was causing enough strain on the system to piss me off. I also hate the "Get a Mac" commercials due to how they make portray the PC character as a boring man who gets into deep shit.
They deleted 3/4 of my first unit, basically 3 posters, 4 assignment reviews and 2 bloody website analysis essays. :argh:

you can get the ''amazing'' op for free...ITS CALLED LINUX!!!
Please dont bring the argument its better for Photo/video editing because anything a mac can do a pc can do it too It all depends on whos operating it A bad artist with a mac will end up with a crap photo/video Its a choice you make.
