I think this is the dumbest comment I have read this month. You do know all computer manufacturers do this, right? If they didn't, we'd still be stuck with computers the size of rooms. Technology is fluid.

Yes I know that they all do it but apple seems to do it with whole systems rather than parts. I don't do prebuilt computers.

You do know that all of the component manufacturers do this as well? Like it or not, you're never going to be 'not obsolete' for more than six months.
The only thing I hate about it is how they advertise it. I mean, they purposely make the pc look bad, even though it's the other way around.
i got one as a gift for college. installed on widows on it but every CS major makes fun of me for it. it's starting to piss me off

That would be true. The reason it isn't is because of Mac's advertising. It made me hate those mac using elitist idiots [U]and[/U] macs themselves.

I have to use them at school alot and i fucking hate them.
Macs are much more reliable than PCs and if your computer breaks, their customer support is 100x easier to use and nicer.
Macs don't have any games. At all.
I don't see the point in macs when you can get a far better pc for the same price

They're so fucking expensive for no reason;- I could buy a PC with the same money I would use for a mac, yet have it twice as powerful.
Always someone mentions the "you don't get viruses with a mac" shit. If you've got a basic firewall on your PC and some common sense you won't get viruses.

Today I was in a small room in school with no power sockets or anything and I saw a computer in there so I asked "Why is there a computer in here?"
