Well you have little to no choice for a mac. With a pc, you fix it yourself, and if you don't fix it, you deal with it.
If you own a mac, you take it to the apple store where they replace it for you, because even the people whose job it is to fix macs can't fix macs.
REAL men use PCs.
So your argument is that you like PC better because you don't have to deal with the shitty tech support of replacing your broken computer instead of saying fuck you fix it yourself? Good point buddy
You can run Visual Studio 2008 Professional and Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2 on it? Oh, and the XNA SDK. Basically, VB.Net, C#, and C++ (possibly Java).
hint: i said what i'd use. if you're going to program for windows, that's sort of goes against the point of buying a mac? lmao. i haven't not found one alternative to a program i'd use on windows on os x.
lemme guess, gaming? because i can do that just fine on my intel graphics macbook ffs, i'm sure you could do it on the newer ones with the sexier graphics cards.
i'm a programmer (er, sort of) and i have a mac :v:
Show me a MAC that runs Crysis maxed out and I may consider it.
I'd expect them to have one SOMEwhere in suburbia, but NOOOO if you've got problems, you've got to drive 45 minutes somewhere.
It's not the fact that you've got to drive 45 minutes, it's the fact that you can't do ANYthing yourself
I live in the suburbs too, and every mall that is even remotely close to me has an Apple store
So your argument is that you like PC better because you don't have to deal with the shitty tech support of replacing your broken computer instead of saying fuck you fix it yourself? Good point buddy
Exactly.
Instead of just being treated like a 7 year old girl, you can decide what goes inside your PC.

You just missed the point. It's that you actually have to go to a store to fix it.
With my PC, i've NEVER gone out to get it fixed. In the 7 years i've owned it, newegg has updated it, and i've fixed it myself.
hint: i said what i'd use. if you're going to program for windows, that's sort of goes against the point of buying a mac? lmao. i haven't not found one alternative to a program i'd use on windows on os x.
Photoshop? =p
Exactly.
Instead of just being treated like a 7 year old girl, you can decide what goes inside your PC.
So you are using 2 contradicting points here, that Mac has shitty tech support and that Mac helps you too much when your shit is broken.

Just has to mention, it's running Windows 7 =p

You can't SERIOUSLY count that as a mac, it's using windows and the same hardware that a pc uses. apple doesn't make it's own hardware. Hell, i opened up my ipod, Toshiba makes their shit.

It is a good excuse to get out of the house and maybe be a bit social.
Or be one of those super lame people that sit in star bucks with their Macs and talk about how they are going to write the next big story that everyone will love (no I am not one of those fails)
Hot_Wings why is your avatar Mass effect 2 if you have a mac? It's not like you can or deserve to play it.
once you go Mac you never go back .its as simple as that .
I said maxed out. :colbert:
Touche (with accent over e)
Photoshop? =p
?? Uhh, Photoshop works almost better on OS X then any of my experiences with it on Windows..unless you mean something else, uh, yeah there's a photoshop version for OS X. Unless that was sarcasm. which. uh.
Hot_Wings why is your avatar Mass effect 2 if you have a mac? It's not like you can or deserve to play it.
Xbox we have been over this read the thread before you post
once you go Mac you never go back .its as simple as that .
Not true! I've done so, and I'm still using my PC every day.
Hot_Wings why is your avatar Mass effect 2 if you have a mac? It's not like you can or deserve to play it.
So you admit that only fags use macs?
Because you're unable to upgrade them; the everything is fucking directly soldered to he motherboard. :argh:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mid_pAnuHoM
"the game was running on mostly high/medium settings., low on shaders, shadows, and water."
Thats considered Medium at most. Nowhere near Extreme.
You can't SERIOUSLY count that as a mac, it's using windows and the same hardware that a pc uses. apple doesn't make it's own hardware. Hell, i opened up my ipod, Toshiba makes their shit.
He said Mac, that is a mac computer, his argument was that it would not be able to support it. That has nothing to do with the operating system running it, he is using a Mac computer
Hot_Wings why is your avatar Mass effect 2 if you have a mac? It's not like you can or deserve to play it.
You can play Mass Effect 2 on a max genius.
The hardware sucks, it's overpriced, and the mac community is filled with goddamn idiots
?? Uhh, Photoshop works almost better on OS X then any of my experiences with it on Windows..unless you mean something else, uh, yeah there's a photoshop version for OS X. Unless that was sarcasm. which. uh.
How does something work better on a different OS?
So you admit that only fags use macs?
No, I admit that there are faggy mac users as there are faggy PC users such as yourself.
It is a good excuse to get out of the house and maybe be a bit social.
What.
This is not a valid argument.
How does something work better on a different OS?
It's simply been a smoother and less laggy experience. It just felt better lmao.
