Chinese army multi-purpose shovel. I know you want one.
A fleshlight for me
We've both made up our minds, but thanks for the suggestions!
I decided on getting Deus Ex: Human Revolution Augmented Edition. I'm also going to get sushi for dinner. My Grandpa might send me like, 20 dollars or something, also.
100 dollars
What are your interests? Perhaps an event of some kind?
Horrible game
Yeah that game that doesn't come out for a few days totally sucks. I hated that part when the trailer showed me stuff.
Buy a game, keep $50 or so in savings. If I were in your position I'd only take about half of his budget at most, I can't bear having people spend too much money on me.

That's indeed a great game. You won't be regretting it.
I had a great birthday, thanks for all the suggestions. I ate a whole load of sushi and rice cakes for dinner, then I went to 7-11 and bought a points card for Dead Money and Old World Blues DLCs for Fallout: New Vegas. I should be getting Deus Ex in a few days, if not tomorrow.
I think the most important thing in birthday is spend sometime with your love ones, your family.Instead go out with those you call "friends"
Me and family do the same thing every year for my birthdays. I wake up. Eat breakfast. Play some games. Unbox my presents then we go to the cinema and then we have a family dinner.
We hardly ever have family dinners and we do they're great.
if your dad actually gives a shit about you, hang out with him.

love

Ask for a $100 prepaid visa debit card. I love getting those.
But honestly, you should spend time with your dad.

go to the movies with your dad- You don't know how long he'll still be around so you best make the most of your time with him, and you could go check out a shop or two on the way home. You don't need to spend the whole 100 dollars, you could keep some left over and save up for a future game or something.

Anything can happen. And the divorce is another good reason to go with your dad- if you spend most of your time playing games, at school, or with your mates, he's gonna be alone most of the time when he's home, and when he's at work, he's at work for you.
It'll really lighten up both of your lives.
And, If it's something that will last a long time, make it something you two can do together.
I'm sorry to bump this thread by 2 years, but I just didn't feel like actually telling any of you about this. My Dad died of a blood clot in his leg on February 13, 2012. I had no idea he was sick, and I didn't even get to see him. I've been an emotional wreck ever since and I really should've hung out with him more. I miss him so much and now I have to live with my Mom and stepdad who argue all the time. I wasn't fair to him, and he deserved to be close to his family during his last days, but he didn't get that.
I can't believe I said this
He's only 41, I'm expecting him to live at least 30 more years from now.
Feel free to say "I told you so"
Fuck man
I'm sorry
Didn't check the date on the thread
Thanks for your sympathy, but I sometimes don't know what to do with myself.
