its even worse when you know the person has like, a 300gb per micro second internet speed and its the servers fault

On one side though, high ping can cause rubber banding which makes it harder to hit the lagging player. Though this is 100% game dependant
I miss running gmod servers, I wish I could respond to this with just kicking the person who is complaining

I show Flower, Journey, Inside and other cool/artsy games to my mother, and she enjoys those sort of things.

Probably the biggest reason I never bought any game past DS1. Any criticism/thoughts I had on the game like "I don't like X weapons animations/X enemy is fucking annoying" was just met with le git gud meme XDDDD. I genuinely, well and truly, think the souls community is one of the worst videogame communities.
When I was in elementary a friend and I would argue over whether Gears of War was better than World of Warcraft. Comparing apples to steak.
