why is it that whenever a (collectively rated) 7/10 game comes out it's widely considered bad when it's literally by definition above average i see this all the time which means there's either a problem with the people writing the reviews giving 7s when they mean to give 3s or more likely a problem with the people interpreting them metacritic is flawed but it's good to get a decent perspective and what's interesting is that going by their color scale (red = bad, yellow = average, green = good), a 7.4/10 is an "average" game and yet a movie or an album has to drop to 6.0/10 to be "average", which makes a lot more sense (6/10 would be the good end of average, 4/10 the bad) it's very weird
iirc the websites started using 7-10 as their 1-10 at some point, mostly IGN. I think they actually have it in their notes or some shit.
what is the appeal of that new robot butt game aside from the robot butt thats literally the only thing ive heard about the game
Adorable robots with flags
what is the appeal of that new robot butt game aside from the robot butt
it's a super fucking fun clash of genres it changes from character action hack n slash to shmup to sidescroller to twinstick shooter etc in the matter of minutes
what is the appeal of that new robot butt game aside from the robot butt thats literally the only thing ive heard about the game
Platinum's tight gameplay with Yoko Taro's absurd writing. It's probably confusing if you're not familiar with the original Nier (and maybe Drakenguard, but I dunno)
we just had an icestorm last night and now its sunny and i keep getting startled by the ice chunks falling off my roof and windows
why cant people just let people enjoy videogames
I recently got my computer upgraded so I could play newer games. When I got around to playing Fallout 4, I honestly didn't get the severe hate it's gotten. Sure, it's not a great RPG, but by no means is it a bad game. I really enjoy it and I've already played through all three main story routes, and I'm currently on my 4th playthrough to get achievements and do the DLCs. I also just found out it's my 5th most played game on Steam with 244 hours, behind Terraria, Payday 2, Skyrim and TF2, which are games I don't play anymore.
We used to have a crazy homeless guy wandering around the street muttering to himself when I was younger. My mom and most of the families on the street would give him something to eat, or some money, whenever he passed us by. He died around late 2006, which kind of bummed us out.
we have a veteran homeless wandering our neighborhood. luckily for him, this district is quite hospitable and people have left things out for him to take. i've left some old things out for him before might decide to have a conversation with him someday. homeless people really need someone to talk to
Anyone ever listen to a video or something that is in rhyme, only to start expecting everything you read or listen to afterwards to start rhyming too?
my mom just tried to argue with me that the candle from beauty and the beast has always been gay because she thought he was the gay character they all are talking about from the new one (Its actually le fou, the short man that follows gastion around in the original) Kept making giant stretches like this print that was yellow/bluegreen/red that looks like a sun in his cupboard is actually a rainbow and shit
never played nier what lore do i need to know to play autotomato????
fucking gay candlesticks man I swear [editline]21st March 2017[/editline] im tired of them puttin chemicals in the studios that turn the friggin candles gay
Primary reason I hate my security job and myself is due to homeless people. Not for the fact that they exist, but due to some of the really messed up ones and some of my supervisors and coworkers I work with. I work at a hospital that is privately owned and we aren't supposed to let people walk around without having a "business" reason to be here. Of course being that I work late nights and work with a good supervisor who shares similar beliefs in the subject, I try to allow wiggle room for some of the ones that come off the street. Most of them just want to either check in, get something to eat (most of the time with money got off the property so its no skin off my back), maybe sit for a bit (especially during winter). 99.9 percent of the time I got no issue. Then being in the night we get a few habitual trouble makers that come and steal stuff from people staying overnight in the ICU lobbies, do dumb shit like jack off in public (again not mentally there in some cases), pick fights with staff, visitors, or even other homeless people. There's like 3 guys and 1 girl that meet this criteria out of the 100s of different homeless people I have seen. We are in downtown and like most of the homeless shelters are in walking distance so we get plenty of people coming through. Then on some days I work with a hardass supervisor who tends to be very dickish to homeless people and I have to dial up my efforts to throw out people or get fired. Like he gets mad about a cup of community coffee being took, when we have so much coffee we use it for goddamn air freshener in the ER. And then some of the nurses that work the front desk go absolutely berserk the second someone comes in ("OH MY GOD SOMEONE MIGHT SEE HIM" meanwhile nothing but the sound of crickets in the actual lobby). My god Friday I was a broken record of saying no because one of them wanted me to search someone in the ER who wasn't placed under any psychiatric hold and my the police detail with me felt it highly unnecessary due to the situation at hand (the ones known locally for being by the book and a touch aggressive). So just a touch frustrating.
"look its rainbow colors!" "...you mean colors?"
Im in link
not real
Im in link
what happened to do not sexualize the link [editline]21st March 2017[/editline] make up your mind man I gave up on that bussy afterwards! were you just trying to keep it for yourself??
Oh and another thing that gets me working out there is how the psychiatric hold rules go. With how some of the nurses are, I'd be mad as hell too being kept in a room for up to 3 days with crappy food (before this corporation took over when I was a kid, the food was actually very good), no books (no writing instruments I can definitely understand), limited bathroom trips, and very limited contact with medical staff, and kept in the complete dark about their situation (especially the goddamn doctors sometimes, these bums can be sitting doing absolutely nothing and just bullshiting around but fucking disappear the second he calls us to go back and "deal" with someone that is mad about all the above).
I remember one time my mom and I got some food from KFC and there was this guy on the streets(I think they were homeless or I think my mom said that something happened with the guys wife, i'm not sure) so she gave him some food from the KFC to help him out. That was really nice of her.
i would fuck that candle
A friend of mine actually just started showing me Steins;Gate a few weeks ago. Made it up until episode 12 thinking it was alright, but man, when things fucking start in that show, they don't stop. I got to episode 17 before she left for her trip to North Carolina and it's been in my head for days.
i'm playing through the visual novel and i'm not even finished yet, but i already feel like i've fought through hell's gates and crawled my way back to the surface, just for it to happen again
iirc the websites started using 7-10 as their 1-10 at some point, mostly IGN. I think they actually have it in their notes or some shit.
it's weird i wonder why there's nothing wrong with a 5

i've listened to this song a whole bunch of times every day for about a week now
very bummed that there's a concert next week i'd absolutely love to go to but it's scheduled on the worst possible day of the week so i can't go
I saw this movie on TV called "Dr. Goldfinger and the Girl Bombs" and it was oh so campy straight from the 60s. My brother didn't see the appeal. [editline]plop[/editline] And right afterwards was an airing of "Troll 2". My mom didn't like the sound of it just because it had troll in the name. I would've watched it but I'm most certainly not doing that with family around.
