Space is really fascinating. Just pick one strange object there is (For example a Black hole) and then ask yourself "Why are there black holes in the first place?"
Don't we all feel so small and insignificant now...
You went down there?! Whats it like being compact into a little squashed ball?
D'ohoho. Well, perhaps bottom of the sea is a little over the top, but certainly close. There are articles and videos of these weird see-through fish.
I hope not, I don't like the idea of that there's some alien planet out there which might be stronger than the Earth. But I think there's still some live out there, somewhere, in the universe but I don't think we'll ever meet those if they excist.
Yes I do believe in them. But I don't think they look like the stereotype humanoid aliens. I also don't think they use flying saucers.

This just occurred to me, what if an alien race picks up a TV broadcast of star trek or something and are able to watch it? maybe not understand whats being said. But if they were watching the newer ones they would see phasers and lots of space combat and stuff and all be like  Or, aha! lets have a war! You get what i mean.
No not really
No not really
Careful... or aliens will steal ALL of your toilet role!
Yes, yes, yes.
Careful... or aliens will steal ALL of your toilet role!
:ohdear:
I believe the possibility of aliens, but I'm not sure if I actually believe in aliens themselves, at least not fully. Scientists all say that it's impossible for things to live on other planets because of their atmosphere being uninhabitable. But what if they need different living conditions? What if our atmosphere would kill them because it wasn't habitable? And you have to take into account that scientists really just assume there is no life. There are millions, billions of unexplored planets. I mean really of all of them, do you really believe we're the only ones?
Yes I do. How could we be alone in the whole damn universe ?
No matter how rare life is, in such a vast universe it's sure to be other, more inteligente species out there. About UFO(Space ships specificaly, as it can be a rock) I'm not sure.
maybe, instead of aliens finding us when we have not achieved much in space, we will find them when they are not as advanced? yes little aliens... run from the big flashing lights...
Alien life - Yes Carbon based - Yes Multicellular - Sure Eukaryota - Maybe Bipedal - Maybe Vertebrata - Maybe Any similarities with humanoid speicies - No
Yeah.
Yes
Yes
Our avatars dance at the same time :v:
No, but i get scared by watching alien films... :ohdear:
Yes, I believe in foreign existence. I believe the reason why these aliens haven't visited our planet yet is because we are one of the many planets out there, so what are the odds they will pick us to visit.
Aliens do exist. But not close to earth.
Yes. Too bad we all can't get along though.
No.
I don't think we are the only things out there, but I don't believe that we have been visited.
yeah
Why shouldn't there be aliens?
Even if the chance of life on other planets is a one in a BILLION chance. Thats means the are still billions of planets with life on them. Space is just that big! I think most of those will consist of bugs and animals but there is bound to be planets with intelligent life who have electricity and nuclear power and stuff. It's almost impossible not to!
What close to everyone else in this thread says: Earth is impossible to be the only planet in the universe that inhabits life.
Aliens don't exist. They have not infiltrated the internet posing as humans. You can't prove anything, move along.
There must be life on another planet, but I think it's very very far away from us.
The universe is too big for patterns not to repeat themselves. Life is bound to be out there, in many different forms. And just as there's likely regular non-sentient life, there's bound to be at least one other sentience in this galaxy alone, unless of course we're the first in this one. It may seem an egocentric concept, but it's a small possibility that humans are the first sentients to evolve in this galaxy, and that the other trees have yet to bear sentient fruit. Or perhaps we're the last to evolve, and all the others in the galaxy are either extinct or transcended in some way. Again egocentric, but it's still a possibility, however small. But most likely is that life is so sparsely spread across the galaxy that the other sentiences just haven't located humanity yet, and vice versa.
