that experiment was an amazing read. [editline]4th October 2013[/editline] is there more like that?
There's that deepweb site about these science facilities who abduct hobos off the streets and perform horrifying experiments on them. Even though it was confirmed fake, it's still unsettling to read.
A lot of the stuff on AlbinoBlackSheep's prank section got me as a kid, like the Where's Waldo and the ever so classic "What's Wrong with this Picture?"
oh boy if i don't remember my very first screamer, it was the car commercial one. I was at a friend's house and all of sudden he says:"Yo alex, i wanna show you a hilarious thing on youtube". I was like alright let'see this "thing"; we got on the computer and he quickly managed to find the screamer on youtube. He started playing the video. After a few seconds, i saw him covering his eyes and ears. I immediately did the same and barely avoided the screaming cunt. a few days later, i accidentally opened anne.jpg :v:
HOLY FUUCKING SHIT Son of a bitch I googled anne.jpg and found a link to it, the link looks like an url to an image and thats it Oh my god I had headphones on fucking son of a bitch I spilt my breakfast everywhere fuck

That face scares the living shit out of me. It burns into my psyche with the intensity of a thousand suns.
click my title with your sound all the way up. Dare you.
son of a bitch my hand is shaking I haven't flinched that hard in years
A great way to avoid screamers and shock sites (on Firefox) is using Block Site and Adblock. YouTube, however, you're on your own. As for something scary to me, it's watching a flash on Newgrounds and a screamer pops up out of nowhere.
I'm pretty sure the whole youtube screamers 'era' is gone by now. Hell, there used to be tutorials to see if a video was a screamer or not, and some of those 'tutorials' being screamers themselves. I haven't seen a screamer video since 2009.
son of a bitch my hand is shaking I haven't flinched that hard in years
wtf why would you actually do it you sick sick man
wtf why would you actually do it you sick sick man
I did it Wheres my free booze fucker
That just made me laugh! :v:
Made me say "what the hell is that?" as I was scrolling past then scroll back up and laugh. [editline]4th October 2013[/editline] what is anne.jpg anyway? I would google it, but I'm about to go to bed and don't want to get hyped up from a screamer.

I think she's mostly seen with the whole "GO TO SLEEP" text thing.
no its a flashing jeff the killer screamer

You guys might be laughing your ass off but I just finished Bioshock, and a shit ton of splicers look and move like that. [editline]5th October 2013[/editline]
I think it's that image where the girl is super super close to the camera, has a pure white face with a creepy smile and weird eyes. This will always be the creepiest numbers station to me. Especially when it has that slow-down moment.
Why do I do these things to myself, it's 9:34am and I'm already scared of everything oh god
There was a website a while ago, something along the lines of hell.com. It had a screamer and such but it would take control of your browser and seriously fuck it up to the point you would have to reinstall it. Does anyone remember the name?
These two things really get me for some reason. Warning the wiki link one is really loud. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:UVB-76.ogg
I searched a little bit for informations about number stations and found a possible explanation for the number station UVB-67 that makes the buzzer sound 24/7.
Why the buzz? It takes a lot of power to transmit a signal constantly and it occupies human and equipment resources to keep a transmitter(s) running 24/7 so logically there has been a lot of speculation on why the sound is so important that it warrants such investment. Few obvious reasons are that the Buzzer is there to keep the frequency occupied – during a military emergency you don't want to find your frequency in use by drunken pirates. Another user convenience feature is the simplicity of monitoring a frequency with a constant tone, a lack of it is much easier to notice during bad propagation conditions than listening to plain static and trying to hear a possible voice message. Lastly, the buzzing is a signal that the transmitter is functioning properly and the receiver has a ”connection” and has the assurance that communications are possible to receive. Many have looked at the sound itself, trying to find whether it carries some well-hidden information. This doesn't seem to be the case and the sound has been reproduced by regular software sound generators. Another proposition is that the receiver has a detector notifying the user when the buzzer stops and message is imminent, this indeed is possible in radio communications with high signal-to-noise ratio but might be a tall order for the temperamental shortwave propagation – and it's cheaper to have a conscript to sit at the radio. Lastly, with the Pip and Squeaky Wheel and a bunch of letter beacons the Buzzer is not a unique example of constant transmitting, it is just the most publicized.
[editline]5th October 2013[/editline] Source: http://priyom.org/media/57653/the_buzzer_primer.pdf
I still remember the first time I saw Jeff The Killer...
I still remember the first time I saw Jeff The Killer...
I remember when that crappypasta wasn't the "true" story, and so there was a bunch of creepypastas trying to explain it.
Jeff the Killer is literally one of the worst creepypastas out there.
Jeff the Killer is literally one of the worst creepypastas out there.
I agree with youu. But the picture is quite disturbing.
I agree with youu. But the picture is quite disturbing.
After you've seen it for about the millionth time - not so much.
I love scrolling through this thread very slowly so I don't shit myself suddenly. I remember my friend sent me a .txt file with hundreds of links (mostly to wikipedia) of creepy/scary internet stuff. I couldn't fall asleep for the longest time, and had terrible nightmares. I only remember three articles from that file, but they're not scary, per se, just spooky/creepy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valentich_disappearance http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyatlov_Pass_incident http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taman_Shud_Case Also number stations were the creepiest shit I've ever seen and that fucking Persephone Station video is fucking creepy as fuck. Also I've clicked J!NX's title before on accident.
After you've seen it for about the millionth time - not so much.
I don't know why, but that picture along with smile dog scare the shits out of me to this day. Something else that's a bit creepy is "The Deep Web". It's the collective name for all the unlisted webpages which usually contains illegal activity such as pedophilia, black markets and even hitmen. The URL's are always made up of jumbles of letters and symbols that make them hard to find and usually end with the domain name .onion, which cannot be accessed with a normal web browser. I'd rather not post any links or details on how to get there due to the huge amount of illegal activity there. Just do some Google searching and you'll find it.
