Americans who talk in British English.
Americans who talk in British English.
When they're doing it like they actually can pull it off while not training for it it's annoying, but for those who are legitimately training to use the accent and dialect, I would give them a pass because all they're trying to do is learn how to speak in an arguably superior manner.
Who the fuck decides what is arguably superior? Also, I apologize, I meant more for typing, especially here. American kid saying "maths" instead of "math".
Did you think it was supposed to be an action movie? Goddamn.
I blame the marketing. The trailer does make it look like an action movie. [editline]20th January 2012[/editline]
Americans who talk in British English.
oh but i thought british english is wholly superior in every way and the u.s. of a is bastardizing the language in canada we get a hermaphrodite of language of both worlds.
when the thread is fucking silent
when the thread is fucking silent
i like reading this thread's replies i hate it when it is silent
Why does there seem to be at least one spider boss in every game I play? x__x;; Fucking corpser, I felt so uncomfy when I had to fight it.
Okay, disregard the comment about me reading every post. There's like 500 of them to go through...
I hate when I don't understand what someone says, ask them to repeat it or clarify, and they get all huffy and think I wasn't listening. I just need some help understanding what's going on and repeating a sentence or two shouldn't be too difficult. [editline]20th January 2012[/editline] I always prefer getting texts rather than phone calls if someone wants to contact me. It's easier for me to understand when I look at the text over and over.
i hate all the people being fucking deaf because they listen to music as load as they fucking can.
I finally have a job and enough money to open a checking account here ($50 from what I saved using a Road Rewards coupon on my Greyhound ticket home and some spending money my dad gave me before I left). However. My supervisor estimated I'll only be working 4 hours every other week at $7.60/hr :suicide:

Though when I type it always auto corrects to American English anyway. Some exceptions though, I can't stand seeing "Theater" over "Theatre".
So used to them? What upbringing did you have that conditioned you to them?
maybe it's just me but it seems like you hate British English
Me too. I feel like I'm talking too much. Not that it stops me or anything, but I feel like I'm posting too much, you know?
I'm pretty sure no one minds at all, bro. :]
oh but i thought british english is wholly superior in every way and the u.s. of a is bastardizing the language
Shit that gets me extremely mad: People that legitimately think that. People who say that also think Americans are intolerant.
Shit that gets me extremely mad: People that legitimately think that. People who say that also think Americans are intolerant.
eh, I don't think American accents are 'bastardizing the language', just that UK accents sounds like sex in my earholes.
So used to them? What upbringing did you have that conditioned you to them?
Raised in England
eh, I don't think American accents are 'bastardizing the language', just that UK accents sounds like sex in my earholes.
Weird, I get really annoyed by british accents sometimes.
Not being able to sing in front of people. Hardpoint Nomad and Smithy69 know what I sound like when I don't hold back. I barely ever sing with power because I'm always around my stepfather who thinks I sound too feminine, which is bullshit. My voice is fairly deep while talking and while it DOES go up a bit higher, it's not like it's fucking astronomical. Fuck it, I'm bored. Gimme something to sing.
http://lights.elliegoulding.com/ this.
Fuck it, I'm bored. Gimme something to sing.
Slayer - Reign in Blood.
Any song performed by Anal Cunt.
Wait anal cunt is a band and not just one of my many insults? Damnit.
Weird, I get really annoyed by british accents sometimes.
I find them to be earsex. For some reason, my favorite UK accented man is the guy who voices the male Imperial Agent in TOR. Although the Inquisitor's is pretty awesome as well.
Any songs I could do that are fairly...quieter? Something like "Space Oddity" by David Bowie? :(
Try MGMT - Kids. Don't really know if it's quiet but it's easy.
Try MGMT - Kids. Don't really know if it's quiet but it's easy.
That is one AMAZING song. Even the dubstep remixes of it are tight.
I really just hate the concept of 'being normal'. It just makes me feel like society's bitch to be exactly everyone else. I don't want to listen to the same music everyone else does just because they do, even though I didn't enjoy listening to said music. I don't want to praise shows that everyone watches when I really think they're shit. I don't want to praise a game just because game reviewers say it's good. I don't want to wear any prepy clothes when I think the video game related shirts I wear are just fine. I don't want to treat X guy or Y girl nicely even though they're assholes to me just because they're a social class or two above me. I don't want to laugh to the same things everyone else does even though I don't think said joke was funny. No, fuck that shit, I wan't to be who I fucking am, a 15 year-old spastic gamer who happens to be able to switch from being a smartass to a full on idiot in the timespan of one second. Edit: Now I realize how much of a hipster I sound like when I typed all that.:v:
