I have a good amount of friends I have and a couple I could rely on and have a good time with almost no matter what. I'd rather have the few friends I could talk to about anything or enjoy instead of a bunch of friends I can't talk to about much. At the same time I have some hate for people who judge others saying they have no life if they know a bit more than the norm about things such as computers or a subject. For the record, I have a girlfriend and friends, I play the drums and piano, I want to pick up a guitar, I write music, I've got an awesome family, and while I don't float into drama when I am in control of it I do have a life. But what it all boils down to is how much you know about a damn terminal or a bit more about English sayings than the next guy. It's really stupid. Thankfully, the musician/funny guy/personality in me cancels out the sudo in me, but there will always be the worthless idiots who form opinions based on how much you know as if having knowledge is a meter of obsession.
