Watching the Republican debates on tv, they are talking about the space program. All of them said something along the lines of "America doesn't need a space program right now, give it to the private sector" Despite it's expensiveness, a moon colony IS a worthy investment. I didn't hear a single person mention helium 3. There are millions of tons of it in the lunar regolith, and it is essentially the solution to all our oil problems. Why doesn't no one notice this? And a bigger question, why doesn't a scientist ever run for president? I would love to see this country run by someone like Michio Kaku, Neil deGrasse Tyson, or even Stephen Hawking. Why do only idiots get elected? TLDR; I'm mad because no one realizes the scientific and economic potential of our nearest planetary neighbor, the moon.

It's because the majority of Americans are die-hard Christians that refuse to elect someone who isn't Christian. There are tons of statistics to support this statement.

I always feel bad when someone's watched a particular film or read a particular book and I've heard about it but never actually seen/read them. I feel like I'm letting someone down if I haven't seen or read particular things. Especially well known ones or classics. I feel like they are thinking less of me because I haven't seen/read it.
