Certain believers definitely deserve respect for things they have done. Although, I do not intend to turn the thread towards a religious debate.

Some of them can be pompous and self proclaimed anti-Christs, and only really accept the belief to escape the norm. Late last week/early this week, I posted a rant about my internet working and my ISP not wanting to fix it and how the tech guy couldn't do anything. Well, internet is now working properly..ish..But I regret calling them. Why? My mom won't stop hounding me about dating/getting a boyfriend. It started when my step-dad got the bright idea to ask if they tech guy had asked for my number (guy was about my age and I was the one to talk to him since I use the internet so much). She has blatantly said that I need to start wearing make up, and dress nicer (my clothes are comfortable, dammit!), and not so subtly suggested that I need to get laid, despite the fact I have no interest in sex. The crowning point, was this morning. My parents are having friends over, and my parents want me to lead the friends around, quoting mom because "the last time they came over, they brought a nice looking young man with them". Upon me protesting that, she promptly told me that I'd "be less bitchy if [I] had a boyfriend". So yay. In order to make my mother happy, I only have to change everything about myself and do things I'm not interested in. :suicide:

I'm ashamed to have my oldest brother as my brother, a few days ago my cool nephew came over, he actually did something with his life, he has a wife, his own house, lots of friends, a good job and then comes my own brother "uh yea. I have my own paper route" (even though he is 24) ofcourse, all my brother does is play video games, and "helps out my mom" which is bullshit, because my mom can do that by herself easly Sometimes I wish he was cooler
