Here's a little thing I did as a kid and never grew out of. Whenever I read a book/comic or watch a movie/tv show, I always imagine what it would be like if I was there experiencing whatever shit was going on with the characters. Makes it more immersive to read/watch but after it's done I always get a little sad that it won't happen. It gets worse when the story involves super powers because having powers would fucking rock.

How, in history, we always hear about the [i]American[/i] side of things. Never much on what the Russians or the British or whoever were doing.
