Minecraft finally updated today. It's a good thing, of course, but there are two reasons why it sucks.
1. I have to wait forever for my favorite servers to update, and there's no way in hell I'm wasting my time using MCNostalgia just to go back to 1.0.0 just for a day or two.
2. Fresh .jar file means no mods. No mods means no custom music that I didn't back up like anybody would do, and now I have to go and make the .ogg files all over again.

Mainstream music did [I]not[/I] suck during the 20s-90s (except for most pop). You had big band, jazz, blues, rock, classic metal, hair metal, (as well as grunge and country but they're not my favorites) etc. as mainstream music before. Now we have...shitty pop love songs, emo "metal" songs, and gangsta rap.

The mainstream is not the only option anymore. It used to be you got the few things on TV, and then whatever popular music there was.
Now, you can find all sorts of shit everywhere from superb artists, it's not that hard.
