So, basically I wanted to make a Linux build for my game, but that means testing it out. (Do note that I basically never touched Linux at all) So I bother with VMWare, installing Ubuntu 64-bit and all that good stuff, only to discover after some head slams to the wall that Linux has a lot of trouble running 32-bit programs on 64-bit, just my luck I guess.
Losing 1000+ souls in Dark Souls 2 in DS1 it's not a big deal, I could grind them back up if I cared enough to, but in DS2 enemies just stop respawning if you kill them enough. I don't want to end up fucking myself [editline]a[/editline] I mean it'll probably be fine, but it's always on my mind that losing a fuckton of souls can reduce my ability to level up

Linux runs 32-bit programs just fine, but usually the libraries are not included by default. Normally when you install a program through a package manager it goes "oh. you'll need x y and z to run this, i'll fetch them for you" but that won't be the case for you.

Seriously fuck that system though.

I stopped playing for a few weeks over that.

Dear stomach, why the fuck you won't coorperate with me in my important moment?
I was planning on staying some from school on Monday because it's my birthday and I want to eat lunch with my dad who has been gone in the Dominicans Republic for the past two weeks with a girlfriend he's spent hundreds of dollars on he met on a mother fucking dating website, even though he's getting home on the same fucking day as my birthday, but my Pre-Calculus teacher decided to move up the test she said was today to Monday so I can't really miss the test anymore. I just want to have a decent fucking birthday for fucking once that doesn't involve being yelled at by a stepmother or having to take a test for a shitty class with a teacher who doesn't know how to fucking teach.
I cannot move my left arm and doing anything like getting up hurts it really badly. I am going to a doctor right now and I am seriously concerned.
Like 50 billion people responded to my aquarium crap on craigslist. 2 people want to pick them up so if they flake I have to redo the whole damn ad.
I'm a little worried that the job apps I put up north went straight to the rubbish. Dan this non existent patience.
Conscription. Youtube / Netflix / whatever videostreaming thingies there are and Adblock have ruined my TV-watching. If there's something interesting on TV, I get super-pissed in the first commercial break, surf the channels a bit (only to see more ads) and then I just turn off the TV. There are a couple of channels that have no ads, but there's VERY rarely anything interesting going on there. Fucking TV goddamn shit. At least it's hooked to my PC so I can use it for gaming etc.
Woo, left arm is broken. I am going to another doctor just in case. I sweated and my face turned pale as I tried to change clothes too. What a great day.
Here:
Letting others be racist assholes does not equate to supporting or being a racist asshole oneself.
Response: Post a picture of a quote

Like, regardless of whether you agree with the above quote or not, you have to admit that this is such a lazy and quite frankly ineffective way of actually "disproving" someone's opinion, especially when you consider that the quote may as well be as much of an arbitrary belief as Emperor's belief.
It's kind of a shitpost to just link an image but a quote is a pretty succinct and elegant way to state your position though what's supposed to follow is an explanation...
The main problem is that it kinda comes off like he's posting evidence against his view and implying "uh no that's where you're wrong" just because another philosopher said so. It also kinda comes off as a bit condescending due to how these kind of quote images tend to be glorified, especially with how they're composited and etc. Not saying that he's not allowed to hold the belief that doing nothing is just as bad as doing something abhorrent, of course.
One of the things that bothers me for absolutely no reason what so ever, is the way that musicians sometimes moves when they are playing their instrument. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMQCKfpJY-E I know from personal experience that it helps. (Or, at least it helped me when I played guitar. [sp]And when I sing in the car or when I'm alone[/sp].) But for some reason it still really bothers me.
Fuck the world, I'm going on a verbal rampage rawr
I see why people prefer to do GTA Online heists with their friends. I just solo queued one of the hardest heists where you have to rob the bank then escape on foot until you get onto the bikes to the canyon to the boat and shit. We failed to make it to the boat on pretty much every occasion because my shitty teammates just kept dying or clearly don't know how to ride a motorbike. Ended up saying "fuck you guys, I'm going" then proceeded to say some other toxic shit like I usually do, the host ended up saying "fuck you noob" and shit so yeah. The host was a dickhead anyway so there's that. Other than that, I hate how my bus service I get to college and back have put some shitty WiFi allowance limit on their buses... I take the same bus to go to college, and to visit my cousin which I used to do weekly in the summer break. Usually I would end up exceeding my WiFi allowance while I'm taking the bus home from his (roughly about 15-20 minutes away from home). Well, it's happened again after a while and that's due to me talking to my girlfriend most of the time I'm on the bus to college and back so I'm not too surprised but what annoyed me is that I had to end up messaging her so she would get them by the time I was home... I would've used mobile data but I got like £5 of data and it seems to run out quickly so it's not always a good workaround and I usually use it in emergencies anyway so there's that. Quite an interesting run of events today, I must say, before I sign off and go to bed... :v:
Was told that someone has poisoned my aunt's animals. So far a dog and all 4 of her pups are dead.
Was told that someone has poisoned my aunt's animals. So far a dog and all 4 of her pups are dead.
What the fuck?? I hope you catch the asshole, I can't stand cruelty to animals.
Was told that someone has poisoned my aunt's animals. So far a dog and all 4 of her pups are dead.
Hopefully the police will get involved. Same thing happened to my friend, some druggie guy was trying to kill the dog until they got security cameras and went to the cops. Anyway I've been busy doing errands and doing fish stuff and now the whole place is a mess and there's muddy footprints. Ugh, I washed the back patio too and holy fuck the people who lived here before must have smoked 5 packs a day, the dirt, which still needs to be replaced, is covered in ashes now. I still need to get the fucking landlord to send the maintenance guys for the lock on the door too.
[t]http://images3.static-bluray.com/reviews/14074_25_large.jpg[/t] Are we still OK with shitty menus for Blu-Ray's? DVD's had better menu's. Fan Made DVD projects for films that never got released have better menus. That DVD that your grandmother made that is nothing but family photos has better menus.
1000 is tiny, that amount becomes inconsequential very quickly. Also, joining the Company of Champions at the monument in Majula will cause enemies to always respawn, though it will increase enemy health and prevent you from summoning people. Swings and roundabouts, innit?
Yeah no once I started killing bosses and shit it got irrelevant real quick. The problem was that I hadn't actually done anything at that point yet. I was leveling up very slowly. Then, I made my way to and killed the Dragonrider, then one-try'd the Last Giant and Pursuer, and most recently I, with help from a shade and a phantom, took care of the ruin sentinels. Getting 10,000+ souls for each of those, as well as getting an iirc "covetous serpent ring" or something of that nature, took care of my "ah fuck I killed that turtle dude enough times for him to quit spawning" issues very easily. I have no fucking clue where I'm going or what bosses are required but I'm not too worried about accidentally killing every enemy and losing their souls anymore (especially because of how many "hurr here's 8 enemies to kill" sections this game has).
It's not a problem at that stage, imo the only times it screws you over is when you try farming for rare items. Seriously fuck that system though.
I generally play games of this difficulty as "well, if I get the boar helmet that's fucking great but if i don't oh well" games, so I honestly think it makes the game easier. Having trouble with an enemy horde? Manage to kill a few of them like 15 times or whatever and you can progress again.
Honestly if you want to grind souls for leveling put down your summoning sign, though I have no idea how active DS2 co-op is anymore.
