This is a real pet peeve of mine. The destruction of old buildings. I can understand in some cases the building needs to go but in a lot of instances beautiful old buildings are demolished to that they can be replaced by a shit looking office building or some utter filth eyesore. As someone who is passionate about history, nothing makes my blood boil as hot as this. Same goes for the destruction of anything else with historical significance I suppose. To extend on my point, the lack of government intervention to protect the destruction of heritage buildings absolutely disgusts me. For example, we had this beautiful golden Hollywood-era picture palace in the city I live in. They demolished the theatre and kept the entryway (and turned it into a visitor information centre :suicide:) so that they could build a fucking office building. It was literally the only one of its kind in the entire state I live in and they destroyed it for a stupid fucking office building that they could have built elsewhere. Here's a picture of the theatre. [t]http://cdn1.bmag.com.au/bmagthumbs/750x500/2/99/c/src/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/21.jpg[/t]
Because they only care about a fucking printed green paper that we called "money"
God fucking damn it, there was chewing gum in the fucking dryer. Chewing gum. Are you fucking serious guys? My roommates have been pretty cool dudes, but fucking hell are their living habits are disgusting. Kitchen is always a wreck, stove is dirty, floor is dirty, fridge is dirty, dishes left in the sink until they start to reek. The trash can looks like its been in a trash dump for a couple years and I bought it fucking 4 months ago. The washer and dryer have what I can only assume is dried cleaning stuff on top of both of them. I keep all my food in a mini fridge in my room. God knows how old some of the shit is in the kitchen fridge. I clean and clean and by the next day it just goes back to looking like it did before, I've given up trying to keep this place clean and have now just focused on my space being clean. I've basically stopped leaving my room unless I need to go tot he store or do laundry. Our place is so gross I can't stand it. [sp]CHEWING GUM IN THE FUCKING DRYER. GOD DAMN IS IT SO HARD TO CHECK YOUR FUCKING POCKETS BEFORE YOU DO THE WASH?[/sp]
College/university I'm guessing, right? Some of the people I've had to live with make me wonder how they even manage to dress without parental help - some of them didn't even have their own bank accounts and shit, they just used their parents' one for everything. As soon as I realised I qualified for the accommodation intended for 'mature' students (19+ apparently, when I thought it meant like 30+ or something) I applied there the following year and never looked back 'cause the people who go out of their way to apply there instead tend to be so much more bearable.
Speaking of flatmates, my current flatmate is a pretty cool guy but I'm moving to university this year and I'm kinda worried about moving into a place with four complete strangers.
That's a fuck ton of hours for just 2 days, I damn sure hope you get enough money. I kept working from 9 am to 3 am atleast 2 days in a row several times before I realized that just isn't gonna work out.
21 hours gives me about 80 euro, not worth all the stress this job brings but I can't find another job so I'm kinda stuck :v:
I wanted to play Watch Dogs again for whatever reason, I click New Game, wait for it to finish loading, and I'm greeted with nothing but a black screen where I get 120 FPS and my GPU heats up to 63C. How did Ubisoft manage to break the game even more than it already was?
Watch Dogs sucks anyway so it did you a favor. :v:
Outbreak Server Resurrection is down right now.
When peoples cell-phones go off in the middle of a movie. It. Blows. My. Fucking. MIND. Like, where the fuck are your manners? How fundamentally lazy, incompetent and stupid do you have to be to not put your phone on Silent at the very least?! For me, when I go into a cinema, one of the first things I switch off before I even walk in is my phone. That shit gets switched off and stays off till I leave. It's like...an unspoken rule, I don't need to be told or prompted, its GOOD MANNERS, I just know that socially its inconsiderate, rude to others to have it on and have it go off and annoy everyone around. Yet people are continuously fucking up on this detail and it baffles me.
When good movies bomb hard.
I didn't even know it was in theaters. I probably would've known if I wasn't using both Ublock Origin and YouTube Red. But hey, I guess it's a tradeoff. No drive-by malware and 30-second wastes of my time, but I also don't get "OUT NOW" ads when I visit sites. I'll see if I can convince my gf to see it with me on wednesday or something.

I want to buy Prey because that was an amazing game and every E3 I've held out hope that they'd bring Prey 2 back out, but nowhere sells it anymore. :tableflip:
I'm all for voting for third parties, but at the same time, it is a bad thing to take votes away from the main two because it will still come down to those two unless we do get enough people to vote outside of those two.
Sorry for being a bit late in replying, but if it's going to come down to those two anyway regardless of who you vote for, then why would voting for a third-party be any worse than just being ineffective? The only way that would make sense is if I was planning on making sure that the lesser of the evils win (aka Hillary), and even then, I've heard that there's people on the other side of the political spectrum complaining about the less evil candidate (aka Trump, in their perspective, I guess) not getting the nomination from voters voting for third-parties.

I just tell everyone that wants the wall that China was still conquered by the Mongols
I hate working on Sundays. Everyone is more of an asshole, we're always understaffed, and the managers send people home still, I never have time to catch my breath, and our corporate policies fuck us over because "what kind of a company doesn't have [x]" Fuck everything about Sundays. [editline]e[/editline] Fucking 30 people waiting to talk to someone and we have 9 people actually taking calls. This is bullshit.
My oblivion is crashing when I wait / sleep all of a sudden and I don't know what the cause is, I've disabled all of my mods despite me only having a few, and working on the load orders... nothing. It's just this particular save. It doesn't crash with other saves.... I DONT WANT TO DITCH THIS CHARACTER BECAUSE I WORKED SO HARD
After eating poorly for months since my mom refuses to cook, I've eaten really richly for the past couple days due to my bfs graduation and hanging with family and friends and holy shit my guts disagree with me. So bloated ugh. How does eating healthy even do this what the fuck.
My MoD (Manager on Duty) Got scammed over the phone today by some guy claiming he was from corporate. He had her activate prepaid American Express and Visa cards, and when I saw what was going on I told her to stop it. Hopefully she doesn't lose her job over it.
about 2 hours into this drawing, and it looks like total fucking garbage.

I was wanting the bounty hunting, super cool space cop. It was an actual sequel too, that plane crash is from the very end of the first game where a plane crashes into The Sphere.
I'm getting this "Not welcomed here" vibe from people and it makes me extremely uncomfortable. Not just certain people but almost everyone I talk to for the most part. Some are rather hostile, others are giving me the cold shoulder, and a whole lot of them are just going out of their way to spite / make me uncomfortable. Worst part of all I can't talk to anyone about it, I don't know who to trust.
Speaking of feeling not welcome or people giving you the cold shoulder. Here's a little pet-peeve of mine. It might sound like a stupid thing for some people but here goes anyway: Back a few years ago I used to love going to weddings believe it or not. Fancy dinners, talking to people And I actually have a excuse to wear a suit :V I remember back when I went to a wedding of one of my aunts and was in this beautiful place out in the woods right next to a lake. Is pretty great being there and not in a closed ballroom like usual. Just listening to the birds sing while breathing outside's fresh air. But lately I've been having really rotten luck when it comes to these kind of events. Every time is the same shit. I swear to god every time I go to these kind of formal meetings people act like they own the world. Constant cold shoulders and weird looks. I mean is usually in the weddings of my mom and dad friends where I don't really know anyone but really now? I expect to be treated with SOME level of respect at least. Is hard to even begin to talk with anyone be cause they always seem so unwilling too. Like you have some sort of contagious disease. I'm seriously thinking next time I go to something like this I'm just gonna bring a gameboy or something along with me. Because I've been to 3 so far and in all of them people have treated me badly. If nobody is going to make any effort to at least act friendly torwards me, then why should I care?
Individualism is surely taking a lot of people nowaday IMO
thanks for blocking most webm hosts (like pomf.is) without any proper messages saying why, school ISP.

I'd also say that technology has changed communication (particularly among younger people) hence why you'd probably have an easier time talking to someone from an older generation. I also think that social media has contributed to the idea of people being the stars of their own little worlds. I totally understand how you feel. I sometimes feel alone in my appreciation for the surrounding world, because it seems like no one else takes the time to stop and smell the coffee. You'd be surprised though, there are definitely still people out there that haven't withdrawn into their own bubbles and see the value in forging meaningful conversations and relationships with others.

It was simple but then again, i'm 24 now so our system was shit compared to what it would be like now im sure.

Fuck strep throat and everything about it.
