1) What's "My Immortal"
The famous Harry Potter fanfiction
YouTube has been awfully slow for me lately.
I have to wake up at 5 am for work tomorrow :v this kills any desire I have to play games. It feels liek I should just sleep all day today.
Almost every single argument in SH turning into barely veiled namecalling and dumb petty bullshit, with everyone involved being convinced they're degrees smarter than the other guys. Oh and gun control being shoehorned into pretty much everything. Some Us vs Them shit going on all the time. 's fucking ridiculous. Never even noticed it before.
ugh I have a TON of homework due tomorrow and I'm pretty sure I just forgot all of the pages I need to do it at school :suicide:
When you go "I want to listen to X but I don't own the album in physical form, I'll just google "[song name]" and click the YouTube link" and you get one of the pitch-edited versions and have to go through the effort of going to Google Play and browsing the shitty non-designed-for-desktop site.
I just learned how large numbers are translated. A billion in my language is a trillion in English.
I'm convinced disabling ratings made it worse
I'd rather have one post get 100+ funnies than 10+ pages of retarded arguing like Mass Debate. Also, people who think 48/60 FPS is the future of cinema annoy the shit out of me. Video game footage, sure. Video games need those extra frames for less input lag. Sports, OK. 24 frames isn't going to cover how fast things get in sport. Animation i also kinda understand, but that's going to take a lot of extra effort for those extra frames, but half-assing it like companies half-asses 3D isn't going to cut it. 60 FPS isn't going to stop the fact that the camera being 2 inches from the action shaking like it's attached to a paint mixer being a retarded idea. Also, slow motion doesn't work the same way at 60 FPS. 60 FPS is 2.5 times faster than 24 FPS, and requires recording the slow motion at 2.5 times what you would record it for, taking up 2.5 times more space, which was already enormous recording it for 24 FPS.
I love the idea of more 48fps movies, it's a whole lot more immersive than your standard 24fps.
So, I've got a sort of internship at the city's local college, and it's fucking balls throughout the entire year. From 9 AM until 2:30 and sometimes even later all I can do is browse FP, or either stream a game from my computer (long live Steam in-home streaming and my VPN). I am so fucking bored out of my mind that I'm seriously considering packing up and heading off work where I can at least make myself useful. Something that worries me tho is that me sitting here seriously kills my mood to go to work too.
I love the idea of more 48fps movies, it's a whole lot more immersive than your standard 24fps.
People claimed 3D was immersive until people realized companies were half-assing it more than usual at twice the ticket cost. I'm not saying that there's no use for it, I'm just finding it hard to justify those extra frames when they don't fix incompetent film making.

The Hobbit films were crap but atleast they were more enjoyable in double the standard framerate imo.
The youtube comments on classic songs. "ugh I was born in the wrong era!" Really? I don't think I'd want to exist in a different time just to be around when these classics first came out. I think I'd rather be here where we have smartphones and can have anything we want by just clicking a mouse.
Agreed, but I'd still love to see more 48fps films in the future. The Hobbit films were crap but atleast they were more enjoyable in double the standard framerate imo.
I probably won't ever get how more frames make a better movie, but to each their own.
I probably won't ever get how more frames make a better movie, but to each their own.
High-paced action scenes are easier to follow, and it's easier to spot details. Ofcourse this isn't great for flawed films.
This dumb bitch in her mustang parked in the middle of the line right in front of me. No apologies or anything.
So this is actually something that has been bothering me for a long time. What's the deal with people deleting you off steam after you haven't talked with them for a week? Ok, listen I know people want to clean off their friends list so you don't waste space with people you don't even talk to anymore. But hot damn! Do I have people deleting me off after not speaking with them for 2 days. Even people from FP for God sake! Maybe I'm making a mountain out of a ant hill but it honestly gets under my skin. You're having a thoughtful conversation with someone one day then the next they are gone. Completely vanished from my friends list. Makes me feel both unappreciated and angry.
High-paced action scenes are easier to follow, and it's easier to spot details. Ofcourse this isn't great for flawed films.
Well shot and well edited action scenes prevent a lot of it to begin with.
Paint.Net has some weird lag going on after there's so many pixels that aren't white. I've tried reinstalling, changing the drive it's installed to, restarting my computer, defragging the drive, and I've tried clearing every file related to PDN and reinstalling. I have no idea what's happening.
Well shot and well edited action scenes prevent a lot of it to begin with.
Agreed, and I think lower framerates can be put to good use such as for example in war-movies where they go for even lower than 24 frames to achieve a feeling. I don't think there's anything wrong with higher frame-rates and I believe it can absolutely be a tool for directors.

*snip fixed*
Did you often eat sweet/sour flavored food? Once,my friend got his tooth removed because he add too many vinegar to his noodle (yes, his tongue is goddamn steel) complete with chili sauce

try to reduce that pop,its slowly chip away your teeth. Anyway, many apothecary usually have some pain-numbing medicine for your teeth, and its not really expensive (Its cost Rp 5000 in my place, means it below 1 buck) Try to use that one, that pill/tablet never failed me Some edit: Man,you are easily get sick, are you often sleep extremely late? For me,if hiccups attacked, usually i hold water in my mouth then swallow it while facing upward (you can clearly heard "glug" sound) For you, maybe this will extremely painful
I go to sleep around 11-12 most nights, but I haven't slept properly on a Sunday in over a year. Most sleep I've ever gotten was around 6 hours and it was a one-time thing. And it's only because I have to get up at 3 AM every Monday to make one of my two shifts that I get per week at my job.
I suggest you visit the doctor to get some check up. because i fear something even worse can happen, considering how bad your body condition
Was just there a week ago and they said I was fine. It's just dentistry that's screwing me up right now.
Then, maybe its connected to your teeth. Because dry socket often happen after tooth removal strangely, its happen to you even though no tooth was removed
Almost 30 years old and I can't even drive yet. Working at a dead end retail job, no aspirations to speak of. Wtf am I doing??
